This MIchigan team is everything wrong with NIL. Likely going to win the title and their 4 best players were all playing for different colleges last year

I really wish college would move to 6 fouls. Fans want to watch the best players play, not sit because they pick up 2 quick ticky tack or incorrect calls.
They should also not call follow through fouls where you block a guys shot but inadvertently follow through and hit his arm afterwards. The NBA eliminated that call because you blocked the shot first.

NIL money can’t last forever.
Friend of mine is a gator booster and owns a large group of car dealerships.
Money isn’t an issue for him but he’s already tired of giving to this semi pro shite.

Michigan is good enough to win it all.. I know they are a #1 seed, but they do a lot of things really well.. big and athletic, good defense, good ball movement..,if they can stay healthy, the bracket is kind to them as well..
4 Texas Tech or Alabama
2 Iowa State, KY, UVA, TN
1 Arizona, Houston, Arkansas?
1 Duke, UCONN, UCLA, Kansas, Louisville, Michigan, St. John’s?
That East bracket is ridiculous.

If you get to host Nebraska if they win today, your city will profit. There were over 10,000 fans here for game 1 Thu night and they won first ever NCAA tourney game.
Game 2 is tonight and they say a 2nd wave of fans are joining those already here. A lot of bars in Bricktown entertainment district ran out of beer, its been that many fans.
Crazy because you rarely get that kind of support for a first and second round game. They are 7 or so hours drive away. Great for the city and fun for their fans.

Quarters. Every other league on the planet plays quarters.

Would love to see UF vs Michigan front courts matchup.
That would be epic.

Michigan and FL would be an interesting matchup.

Michigan State is athletic. If they knock down threes, they’re pretty damn good. They can probably beat Duke.
Loo vull hanging around though.

Think it's just Carr that makes them look athletic. Dude is a freak and his athleticism jumps off the screen. Their frontcourt isn't super athletic.
But Boozer doesn't beat you with athleticism so they still matchup pretty well with Duke.
Fears is a great player. Fears and Carr plus solid frontcourt. Good team.
Big 10 better than SEC at the top but SEC is deeper.

The refs in this game are atrocious. They won't call anything against UH. I think this one turns nasty before the end of the game. Somebody is going to get hurt with how much they are letting go.

quote:They never do. Sampson figured out the biggest cheat code in college basketball. If you foul constantly, the refs recalibrate to your style of play and call a normal number of fouls.

Nolan Richardson ran the same scheme in the 90s.
The announcers gave it away earlier when they said “Houston’s weakness is they don’t go to the line much.” How could a team as physical on the offensive boards as houston not go to the free throw line more than the average team? Because the refs don’t call their games well.
