Maybe tap the brakes on LSU? Clemson lost 9 starters to NFL draft from a 7-5 team.

We’re obviously not crowning them national champs after one game, but their defense flew around all night and they scored 51 points with a pretty vanilla game plan IMO.
They looked better than I anticipated they would.

I mean you guys come to Tiger Stadium pretty soon. Curious to see how much brake tapping Lane does there.

And used the portal like they never have before and spent a good bit on NIL compared to what they ever have!
And they got beat like a team that lost 9 starters from a 7-5 team

“LSU fans are delusional for saying their 41 point win with 3rd stringers in for 20 minutes of the 2nd half over an ACC team is a good win.”
“Ole Miss’s 3 point win over an ACC team was such a good win.”
Do you realize what you sound like?

That is very true. It’s also true that LSU looked very good. All there is to it.

We beat the dogshit out of a Power 4 team after all the “distractions”.
At one point in the 4th we were out rushing them nearly 300 to a negative number.
I think we should be able to enjoy this one.

If I was going to grade LSU right now they would get an I for incomplete. Same grade I give Bama right now. I’m pretty comfortable saying that both teams have a good defense. Both teams still have a lot to prove on offense. Bama will get a test this week and LSU will certainly get tested against A&M in a couple of weeks or so.

This is what happens in week one my man.
The teams that beat a power 4 get some credit.
The ones that play directional schools better win big just to stay anonymous.

It's not only losing 9 starters, look at the starters
QB1
RB1
WR1
OT(1st rounder)
DT1(1st rounder)
DT2
Edge(2nd rounder
OLB
CB1(2nd rounder)
That's the entire team, the only thing left was the 2 WRs and Sammy Brown

No, it was an impressive win- best of the week. Just don't know much about Clemson. These first week games are sometimes bad indicators.

It was 51-10 man
LSU is looking stout
This isn’t difficult

LSU was 7-6 last year, and lost 7 players to the draft. I’m not sure this point lands
