Safe travels for anyone heading to the game. Let's pray for an injury free and well played game.

It's "better". Best implies that there are more than two teams playing.

Concur. As much as this build up is good for the sport, as it lives or dies on fan passion, it is just a game.

I've known people who can never comprehend how opposing coaches and players can be so friendly after a "big" game, win or lose. It is because it is a game and their profession. It really isn't personal.

For all of the drama, more than a few Ole Miss players will embrace Lane and their former staff before and after the game. Players will hangout and exchange pleasantries on the field. And, the coaching staffs will joke around and shake hands.

But, the fans are a different story. Stay safe, don't be stupid, keep perspective.

Serious Question: Think any of the Manning family will be there, or will they more likely all be in Knoxville?

Just seems like ole Archie should be in attendance, considering the year-long tidal wave of hype, leading up to this game....

The only Manning that would choose to go to Knoxville to watch them take on the powerhouse that is Kennesaw State would be Peyton.

As for Archie, he's getting pretty old and doesn't make it to all of the games anymore so it wouldn't surprise me if he didn't make it. I'm sure Eli will be there.

I agree. We all love our schools/teams and look forward to this every year- but in the big scheme of things, it is a football game.

No one should lose their humanity over it.

I just wish that the young and stupid would learn this. Of course, the middle-aged guys that sit in opponent's student sections should also know this.

He is. Sad to see....Always liked ole Archie. He was a big part of many childhoods, in both states- including mine.
