Hey, I feel for you State guys but you better get used to this talk. You guys are going to do very well this season and Mullen may be the #1 target in the land.

If he wants to coach a National Title team... yes.

Well they can't get Petrino or Kiffin back so they might as well.

Why would either want him in a water-shed hiring? He hasn't proven a thing yet, except he can beat basement dwelling teams in the SEC.

not the answer we need. we need a big swinging dick who will come in and immediately change the culture and excite the fanbase. Also he needs to recruit like a motherfricker.

It's not easy to win consistently at Starkville. Moreover, he has shown that he is making them better. I think he has shown a lot to make himself very marketable.

And Arky and Vol fans need to step back into reality just a little bit and realize that guys like Pete Carroll are not moving to the land of WalMart, the Ozarks, and Dollywood.

OK, and I don't know maybe you are happy with Dooley and I'm assuming you would like to upgrade...but if Mullen is not good enough or proven himself enough for you and UT then I have to ask who would be acceptable?

You are forgetting one rather large factor. You pay someone enough they will live in Alaska. Plenty of good coaches fit this bill and Fayetteville is a fantastic place to live unlike the vast majority of the SEC.
