I don't really think of a 5-star elite national recruit (Dupre) as having the most upside.

A lot of these goofballs that keep talking about him being the next Morris Claiborne will be the same ones ripping him to shreds in a few years if he doesn't show out. Its all kinda silly and detached from the reality of the situation....

Miami is an iffy sports market no doubt. There is real risk here.
Still, this is a unique situation. I think Beckham has a chance to draw star power to the club. But where I really think he has an opportunity to tie this club into Miami's culture and bond with the city is through establishment...

I think the MLS is roughly the equivalent of the Championship. The better MLS teams...the SKC, Galaxy, RSL, Dynamo, Red Bulls...are on par with the better Championship teams...the Leicester, QPR, Burnley, Derby County. And the MLS bottom feeders...the DC United, Chivas, etc...are around the level ...
