I don't really think of a 5-star elite national recruit (Dupre) as having the most upside.
I will go with Chark. Quiet recruit with one other big offer (Oklahoma State) but I liked what I saw of his talents. At first I did not care for his offer because I don't follow cenla much at all but he won me over. He has skills.

Miami is an iffy sports market no doubt. There is real risk here.
Still, this is a unique situation. I think Beckham has a chance to draw star power to the club. But where I really think he has an opportunity to tie this club into Miami's culture and bond with the city is through establishment of a first class academy with direct involvement by him.
I'm looking forward to the process.

Trust me, most people in Miami view the Orlando crowd and the Tallahassee crowd the same. It's a stereotype....that's the point. If you want to get technical, not all Miami is glitzy and rich either. I guess I should go examine the demographical statistics.

This club will have star power in the ownership and on the pitch. European and South American players will want to play and live in Miami. A badass stadium will be built in the city by the port. A top academy will be established. People will love this club and will love to hate this club. And a great derby will begin between Miami and Orlando...the rich star power elites from the glitzy coast against the blue collar, down home folks from the panhandle.

Amazingly, some do actually believe this rubbish.
I helped LSU out a lot with recruiting through my posts on here. I expect a phone call from Les or Frank any time now.
I think the MLS is roughly the equivalent of the Championship. The better MLS teams...the SKC, Galaxy, RSL, Dynamo, Red Bulls...are on par with the better Championship teams...the Leicester, QPR, Burnley, Derby County. And the MLS bottom feeders...the DC United, Chivas, etc...are around the level of the Championship trolls...the Barnsley, Millwall, etc.
I'm sure there is another Asian Bond villain type out there looking to buy a club.

I am not a Carroll fan but he had been owning Swansea all day. Flores climbs on top of his back and falls over him as Carroll pivots his body to try and throw him off. Now, he does swing his arm around and slightly graze the top of Flores' head...to which Flores collapses to the Earth and rolls around like he is on fire.
Review it, rescind Carroll's red card, and give Flores a one-match ban for diving.
