I'd be pretty sunned if he even got consideration.

What did Chizik do before he got the Auburn job? Mullen's resume is a lot more impressive.

Yea, I don't get the dismissive attitude regarding Merlins. He was good at Florida, has done well at State, and very well could lead them to their best season in a decade or more. It seems like a couple of programs may need a little more humbling.

Hey, I feel for you State guys but you better get used to this talk. You guys are going to do very well this season and Mullen may be the #1 target in the land.

Pretty sure he has a non compete clause in his contract that wouldn't allow him to go to another SEC team. And we can hang in pay for most other teams outside the SEC. Mullen has fattened the coffers at STate

not the answer we need. we need a big swinging dick who will come in and immediately change the culture and excite the fanbase. Also he needs to recruit like a motherfricker.

Why would we want Merlins when we have Gruden kicking our tires?

1. u mad
2. what has he done at State exactly that Petrino never did at Arkansas? Beating Ole Miss routinely isnt a measuring stick for success at Arkansas

Mullen is a below average recruiter. For the record, developing talent =\= recruiting

His wife loves Starkville. He will be at State as long as he wants to.

I'm much moire concerned with losing Chris Wilson. His son is the QB at Starkville High so I hope that keeps him here.
