I live in Georgia and I heard that Luke is having an affair with Clesi Crochet. He's been burning up the road between Athens and Auburn instead of getting ready for spring practice.

Welll if he’s hired at Auburn next week, we’ll know the story’s got legs! So to speak.

While Pitman was an excellent recruiter, I think the OL played better under Luke

Yeah, this did not happen. Pittman is the best OL coach in the country. Luke was great for us though, wish him nothing but the best

I heard coaching was taking away from his bird watching and star gazing so he decided to step down

I feel bad for Auburn, losing yet another staff member in Will Friend this offseason when he comes back home to UGA.

I LOVE the PittBoss. But I really loved seeing more athletic guys pulling and reeking havoc on opposing teams front-7. I think Luke did a great job.

UGA's last five head coaches still live in Athens. They have enough money to live wherever they want, but they stay. It really is a special place to live.

uhh, Friend played at The University of Alabama, and if Saban were to make the call he'd abandon all of you .

He's from MS, not AL, though he did matriculate and play at Bama. His career following that had nothing to do with Bama. He made his name at UGA. He followed Bobo from UGA to CoSt. Bobo is back on UGA staff. Auburn is a dumpster fire. UGA needs an OL coach. Friend knows how superior of a place Athens is to live.

Athens has 1 gated community. None of the coaches live there. They live in the historic neighborhoods.

Damn good reason for that, because Saban hasn't tried to hire him

Ok then, what are you doing in this thread? Why do you care so much about UGA poaching such a mediocre coach from Auburn?

All the former UGA head coaches chose to make their home in Athens. Don’t blame them. Can’t think of a better place to live.

Several former UGA football players/ SEC personalities live in the Georgia Club. It’s gated and about 7 miles outside of Athens. Nice!
