Johnny had 1410 rushing 21 TDs, and 759 with 9 TDs his last year. 2169 total with 30 TDs.
Matt had 592 5 TDs, 614 5 TDs, 707 8 TDs, and 622 6 TDs. 2535 for 24 TDs.
I think if Johnny had 3 years, he would have had more than 3k.

Watching highlights of QBs like Matt Jones and Michael Vick and seeing how often they lined up under center in the I formation is just retarded in hindsight. Seems like RichRod was the only coach bold enough to run a spread offense in those days and play to his QB's strengths.

The problem with Jones is that his work ethic was trash and that was a good fit on the Nutt teams because he didn't require it.
Once he was under Jack Del Rio who demanded more out of Jones, he didn't last long.

The baseball broadcaster Phil Elson was the host originally but he moved over to the Buzz and Matt took his spot.
He has been struggling. He can't stay on topic and keeps talking about soccer. A fan called, complained and said we don't care about soccer. Matt was silent and quickly changed to a different subject.

He was pretty careless with the football.
He was a huge bust in the NFL and was just a complete waste of talent.
When he was arrested in Fayetteville, he had a choice to go to prison or go to drug court.
He went to drug court and the judge had a zero tolerance policy including no alcohol.
Matt played golf one day and drank beer. I guess the word got out he was drinking beer and the judge found out about it.
He said it was only one beer!!!
He was very close to going to prison for about a decade and he was on probation for a lengthy period of time.
He apparently cleaned up but sometimes when he talks he sounds a little off.

I'd compare Jones to Cam before I would compare him to Manziel. Jones and Cam were both freak athletes who happened to be able to throw a football (though Cam was obviously better in this regard)
Manziel is in a different class, more comparable to Mayfield, Kyler Murray, etc.

Matt jones was WR at Van Buren his junior year and he transferred to Fort Smith Northside as a QB his senior year.
Oklahoma wanted him as a WR but he wanted to play QB.
He hurt his throwing shoulder in his early years at Arkansas and couldn't get much zip on his throws.
He played in a very run oriented offense and a coach that was terrible in developing QBs.
Everything he did was on raw talent.
