If he was on a better coached team, he could have won a heisman.

Two very different QBs, but Matt Jones was legit and deceptively fast.

2003 Kentucky and Jared Lorenzon v Arkansas and Matt Jones in a 7OT thriller is one of the seminal football games in SEC history.

He was good but twice Manziel? I think the onus is on you to prove it rather than us having to prove he wasn't. Statistics don't support your claim. Wasn't he in the 7 OT game v. Ole Miss and ELi?

Your wife's job is to change your mind... not this place.

They were both really fun to watch. He was a really good athlete. If not for his own internal problems , I think he would have probably been in the nfl for a while as a wide receiver. I remember he always looked like he wasn't running that fast but people couldn't catch him.

Was Jones really found cutting up coke by cops when arrested?

Jones with a better OC (for that time period) is a Heisman trophy winner with his freakish speed. Manziel was a perfectly fine QB.

At the next level... Jones should have spent college learning to be the big play WR and Manziel would have had a great shot at a long NFL career as a safety or CB.

He was really good and on a team with Mike Evans he would have been better.

But I don't think he was better than Manziel. Definitely a better person and as entertaining at times, though.

Why did Arkie fire Nutt?
