@NickSuss: Matt Corral just detailed everything he remembered from the last drive of last year's Egg Bowl. Turns out he was just flat out ignoring/changing the play calls because he knew what was going to work. He was right. Every time. Just an incredible story.

Remember, Corral was the backup in 2019 and did not get along with the previous staff. Plumlee played most of the game but was injured and not really effective like he is when 100%. Corral went in on last drive.

Corral:

Makes me love him even more.

That's pretty cool, and I imagine pretty frustrating for the coaching staff for the backup QB to know you're an idiot.

He never should have been a backup. Luke was a terrible HC.

I appreciate Matt Luke's contributions to helping the UGA Offensive Line reach their full potential

He knew he was transferring at that point so he said frick it, let's ride. The fake piss changed so many outcomes it's unreal.

So Matt also played a hand in getting Luke fired. If he doesn't change those plays, the piss and miss doesn't happen and Luke is still here.

fricking amazing

We had been complaining about Matt Luke's oline coaching for years, and then genius Bjork decided he was a HC. And then genius Kirby decided he was an Oline coach. Out of the four top o tackles that went in last year's draft, only the UGA guy (who went first) has been a bust. I just hope we don't hire him back when UGA wises up and fires him.

Imagine how dead our program would be if Luke were coaching this year. Would’ve been worse than Nutt’s last year

THIS!^

If we had decent O-line play in 2014 and 2015, we would have made the playoffs.

I thought the joke was "4th and 25"? What am I missing?

Different game. You're thinking of when Arkansas had 4th and 25 a few years ago. Last year Ole Miss had a 4th and 26 with under 2 minutes to go in the Egg Bowl and converted.

The fact that Luke and RR played JRP all year was ridiculous. But he could run fast...

If Luke was still here then our program would truly be dead. Like, it would take a decade or more for us to get back to a bowl game

Watching Corral in that postgame interview after South Carolina and it was evident he's a really smart dude who knows and loves football.

It's fun to watch him play, especially under Kiffin (except against my team ).

The Giants OL coach changed Thomas's technique and he struggled mightily with the change. Judge brought in a consultant who recommended Thomas go back to his UGA technique; the OL coach pitched a fit and got fired. The consultant is now the OL coach; Thomas switched back to his previous technique and is playing much better.

No he didn't, because Matt Luke did not (and never has) called plays.

If Corral is telling the truth, then he "checked out of every Rich Rodriguez call".

Your post is just the typical uninformed fan "Let's blame everything on the Head Coach!" nonsense.
