Do you have any knowledge of CFB before 2000? Heisman Trophy, more years than not was a popularity contest.

You should really consider petitioning Chicken to change your login to Troll because you are hands down the biggest Troll on the Rant.

You must not have seen Bo Jackson's stats the year he won the Heisman.
So you are saying Bo's heisman was closer(votes) than Ingram's

Actually Bo did well his Heisman year.
In 1985, Jackson rushed for 1786 yards which was the second best single-season performance in SEC history. That year, he averaged 6.4 yards per rush, which at the time was the best single-season average in SEC history. For his performance in 1985, Jackson was awarded the Heisman Trophy

Almost. I think Bo has the 2nd narrowest margin of victory after Ingram.

Most times it was worse back in the day, as far as a popularity contest. With limited tv exposure, the big programs were seen more. Paul Hornung (sp?)from Notre Dame, won it after a 2-9 season.

You know that episode of King of The Hill where Peggy thinks Randy Travis stole her song? And Hank gives her examples of how she takes common knowledge and calls them her own opinion?

Ingram knows how easy it is to run behind alabama's line - so he knows where to give props to.

Ingram had better numbers than Archie Griffin.

You may be correct, but we can't play the "what-if" game here...
So should players in the SEC be left out because they couldn't get the stats these other players are getting because they have to run the SEC gauntlet?

Did I even come close to saying that? No. I was referring to his statement about Ingram having the worst stats ever, and implying Bo's weren't as good as Ingram's, the year he won the Heisman vs the year Ingram won the Heisman.
