@Clemson L
@Ole Miss L
@Alabama L

It is going to be tough to be ranked in the top 5 with three losses.

LSU is a Kia?

Ouch.

And to think Kelly thought he was leaving for a higher level program with more to offer.

And he's driving a Kia?

I disagree. LSU with Kelly has been more similar to a Nissan. Pretty reliable, nothing fancy or impressive....but a nice steady 9-3 type program.

He must be kicking himself?

Marcus freeman also didn’t build a thing ever If ND faces a single team with a competent QB their defensive woes will be front and center.

How many playoff and championship games did Kelly win lol

This is like saying Ed Orgeron was a better LSU coach than Nick Saban because Orgeron won more playoff games at LSU than Nick Saban did at LSU.

Kelly cannot go back and win games under the current format that did not previously exist.

I’m sure y’all are already putting together your excuses in advance

He will have then exceeded what Kelly did at Notre Dame.

There would be no reason to defend Kelly's Notre Dame record at that point or come up with any excuses.

Until Freeman wins, he and Kelly are equals at Notre Dame.

I'd say the loss of the starting punter had more of an effect than the loss of Beck,

You don't think the backup QB fumbling and leading directly to Notre Dame points had a big effect?

Nah, he already has 2 more NY6/BCS bowl wins that BK.

But ya know, there was that time Notre Dame beat LSU in the Citrus Bowl so that means BK is great.

In 3 years at ND he already has twice as many top 5 wins that BK has at ND and LSU.

Without a doubt it did.

Are you putting that on the QB or the left side of the OL that said "Ah it's the Sugar Bowl, we should just not block this game, because frick it, blocking is hard sometimes."

I put it mostly on Kirby for being too aggressive at the end of the half with a QB making his first start. Would have been fine to be that aggressive with Beck.

Kirby should have taken a 6-3 deficit as a win.

The way the OL was playing, I wouldn't have done it with Beck either.

It doesn't matter tho, OL play and Special Teams (not just the punter but the kick return for a TD to start the 2nd half) decided that game.

Y'all give way too much credit to the coaches for wins and losses. The truth is that notre dame is still a good defensive team and an average offense . Just going by eye test they look the same as they always have . They look like a 2 or 3 loss team if they played a tough schedule.
