there is nothing like Tiger Stadium, so I don't care how "fan-friendly" Faggie Field is, you don't compare steak to burgers, go back to lurking, you are not a Tiger fan.
I think for McMahon to keep his job , he would need a deep run into the tourney, at least sweet 16, and I think we all know that is highly unlikely. That said, the new President that just came from McNeese is pretty tight with General Wade, and I know for a fact through people close to CWW that he absolutely would come back to LSU in a heartbeat....I cant think of a greater way to bring some life back to the MBB program than to bring the General home....we shall see.

this is just lawyers lawyering, it's what they do, I don't see the issue here.

credit him for what? one game in vs the equivalent of a girls high school team and we looks lackluster? McMahon sucks, and will be fired this year. mark my words.

hoping McSUCK continues to mcSUCK, and now that we have new leadership coming in, BRING BACK THE GENERAL.

hell yes, one pitch
I am ashamed that they didn't play Neck instead of that stupid war chant...
LSU was on board to bring back WW and fire MM but the SEC commish shut it down, politics at it finest. Granted, LSU should not have fired Wade to begin with IMO, but again, that was essentially to save the football program, more politics. At this point, roll MM out there one more season and in the meantime, start looking for the next coach.

McMahon sucks.

re: Why are we retaining McMahon?

100% agree, I have been a big supporter of bringing back Wade, but if not Wade, we have to hire a more competent coach than McMahon, this is just terrible.

Easy solution: give the free shite away after the game ends and as the fans are leaving. Make them get a coupon upon entrance, redeemable starting at the 8 minute mark of the 2nd half for those who want to leave early as we are getting blown out.

LOL you must be a Democrat.

Why are all our basketball fans so stuck on Will Wade?

well McNeese is going to the NCAA tourney again this year, and LSU might not even be invited to the NIT.
buying players won't fix the problem, which is CMM is not an SEC caliber coach...get ready to keep sucking.
honestly regular season ( espescially non-conference) baseball on tv is pretty boring, it is fun live , and is watchable in post season, but just being honest.
early 80s- I have such great memories of the "Deaf Dome" literally so loud you could not hear the person next to you. ...The Tiger mascot being lowered from the catwalk for a Kentucky game...the student section sitting right in the middle of the opposing side breaking out the newspapers when the opposing team was called then balling them up and throwing them when the Tigers lineup was announced....Jordy Hultberg, Rudy Macklin, Hi-C Carter, Shaq, Chris Jackson, ...to go to a game now is such a stark contrast, this next gen just has no idea
