You do realize Clemson's last National Championship was in 1981.....until last year, of course. Congratulations.

Tua clearly was the difference in that game. He stays on the bench Georgia wins. It is that simple. To act like there was not a difference in the Offense between Hurts and Tua is downright delusional.
Go back and read my posts and stop acting like an idiot.

Your safety was so far out of position he might as well have not been on the field
it helps that our receiver is extremely fast, that Tua was able to look him off to keep him completely out of position, and that Tua was able to throw the laser
but good god man
I just imagine how Tua must have felt when he walked up to the huddle and saw where the safety was standing and then when the guy never got outside the hash

What problem could you have with Mecole Hardman? I can't think of anything slightly controversial that he's done all year.
Its a complement. I swear I put a on that. His return game is freaking scary. So kick him off!

And yet you posted to me.
Look, you've been acting stupid for the better part of a month. We all get it. Alabama is the best program by far right now. You act like a lot of the new Georgia posters.
Grow up and act like an adult. Try having just one conversation without acting superior. You didn't win anything. The football team did. Just because Alabama won the National Championship, it does not make you any better looking...any smarter...and certainly not any more clever.
I am not trying to be a jerk, but give it a rest.

Yeah, it was just a big screwup all the way around. It came at the worst time imaginable. Make two more stops and we win the game. Close just doesn't win many National Championships, though.

I was wondering! I was going through my mind trying to think if he had acted poorly or something. I couldn't think of anything, but....your question was so legitimate I didn't think you were trolling, but I couldn't figure out what you meant!

Sony Michel says "hey guys, don't forget about me".
I THINK atompkins is saying us not running the back with the “hot hand” (Sony) more cost us the game. I hope that’s what he’s saying because Sony certainly didn’t do anything to cost us the game.

Bama had 9 possessions in the 2nd half including overtime and scored on 5. 3 TD's and 2 field goals.

To be fair, if the safety does his job, Tua goes into the middle of the field. Ends up probably 3rd and short.
Georgia is running 4 DL, and everyone else in coverage. 2 deep safeties leaves 5 guys to cover the 5 eligible receivers.
The big thing is that there was double coverage on the TE #82, Irv Smith. On the winning TD, he's the one who is running from the right side of the line to the left on a slant.
That leaves #4, Jerry Jeudy, in the WR spot by the TE, running a deeper slant but inside the deep safeties. The guy that is supposed to be covering Jeudy operates almost as if he's playing zone - not sure if this is because he is unaware that the WR that is far right (Ridley) is streaking and is already well beyond his ability to cover.
While all this is going on, #3 for UGA appears to give a good bit of cushion to the safety valve, #34 Damien Harris, but floats back with Irv Smith (who is already being covered by the other LB for UGA).
Basically, if Tua doesn't get the look to DeVonta that he wants, he has an open Damien Harris for at least a moderate gain, and an open Jeudy (thanks to the guy who is supposed to be in man coverage with him breaking to focus on Ridley) pretty open and very close to the first down marker by the time he would get the ball.
Your safety bit, but you had two breakdowns on deep coverage on that play (not just one) and the safety valve is there in the speedy Harris who likely would get a good bit of yardage (if the guy who was supposed to cover Jeudy sticks with him, then the LB breaking to cover the TE would allow for Harris to get a pretty big gain).

By no answer for him, do you mean Bama only scored 3 times in the second half.
I see you're still drinking off your disappointment.
In the second half, Alabama had eight possessions in regulation. They scored on four of them (two TDs, two FGs) and missed a FG from the UGA 17 on the last one in regulation.
Put a different way, they reached UGA 25 or deeper on 5 of 8 second half possessions - that's a 62.5% success rate.
Please, for the sake of your liver, try to sober up soon.
Edited to add - include overtime and that goes up to 66.7%

Well, it also didn’t help that a few of your offensive linemen got owned - big time. Bama blew up the run and hurried/sacked Fromm, throwing him off more than once.
So, I’d place blame right there. 2nd is your coaching staff in not adjusting to Tua.

If Fromm hits that last key 3rd down Pass to the RB the game is probably over

Why did they not go to Sony more in the 4th? At the top of the 4th quarter he ran 3 straight plays for 10, 5 and 13 yards.
Per Schlabaugh on ATL radio this morning, he said coaches told him Sony was hurt. Hip. No other details.

I almost posted the same thing, but then I thought they may not be counting OT. I'm not sure, though.
