Damien Harris was also there for a dumpoff that could have gotten about 15 yards.

And you might be the only person alive on this Earth that wasn't impressed by that true freshman's performance on the biggest possible stage.

Gus also was less than impressed. To be fair he was at sw new mexico lake & river state as they have a hot qb who just stole someone’s laptop

I believe you mean Chubb. The under utilization of SM in the 4th quarter allowed Alabama to get the ball back.

He definitely had a rough game, but Dom Sanders was in the wrong on the last play. Parrish was supposed to let him go and Sanders would have gone 1 on 1 with Smith, but Parrish looked back and saw Sanders wasn't moving over, so he tried to catch up but it was too late.

If this coverage was Man free, Parrish had him the entire time with Sanders providing over the top help. If it was a simple 2 deep zone, Parrish was to drop until someone entered his zone. The RB stayed in to block, so Parrish would've continued to bail. Definitely some miscommunication on both parties. Parrish simply had a rough night. He was beaten on multiple occasions by Ridley in the first half but Jalen couldn't have hit water if he was standing knee deep in it.
