he didnt play well at all but in a typical cover 2, the safety picks that ball off easy. He was in center field and not where he should have been

It wasn't just the winning TD... By that point he was already a beat up punching bag. Tua, Daboll, and our receivers beat him like a drunk hooker.

As one Georgia fan on our board put it: our secondary should be better by subtraction next season. It's a good example of how even a very talented team can have one weakness that can be exploited leading to victory for an opponent. Other than the QB position, playing defensive back is easily the most pressure packed position in football. You're on an island in which individual play is highlighted for all to see and one mistake can easily lead to a TD against your team.

He definitely had a rough game, but Dom Sanders was in the wrong on the last play. Parrish was supposed to let him go and Sanders would have gone 1 on 1 with Smith, but Parrish looked back and saw Sanders wasn't moving over, so he tried to catch up but it was too late.

After rewatching how would you assess the officiating?

Tua owned their whole Defense. Game wouldn't have been close had he started. Same goes for a lot of other games as well.....

He threw one of the dumbest interception's I have ever seen and he got sacked 3 times. He only had 110 yards in regulation. He's gonna be really good, but I thought he was almost as bad as Hurts except for the last 2 drives of the game.

I too wondered wtf he was doing. In the post game interview with Tua, Saban, and Payne, Tua said that it was a miscommunication and he thought it was a pass play whereas everyone thought it to be a run play. Freshman mistake.

I can go ahead and tell you, Kirby will never have a lock down secondary. We never did at Bama when he was here(maybe 2011) but UGA is going to have to get pressure to be effective against the pass.

What the hell did Sony do? He had a good game, I don't know why he only got 1 carry in the 4th quarter though?

I heard he was so distraught he tried to throw himself in front a train. But it blew right past him

It was the sack he escaped on third down of his second series that turned the game around. It would have been his second straight 3 and out, but he escaped, scrambled for the first, then put the ball in the end zone to cap that drive. If he takes that sack, ball game is over. He would have had no momentum or confidence at that point.

Malcolm really played well his entire career until this year. Had an injury that forced him to miss a lot of time and then against Auburn and Alabama this season he got abused.

In 2014 our secondary was dog shite. Not talent wise but just as a unit. We had Landon Collins, Cyrus Jones, Eddie Jackson, Geno Smith, and nick Perry. All really solid players but Cyrus constantly got burnt. Eddie got burnt and needed to be at safety. Geno wasn’t all that physical. Nick Perry was slow. Landon had to play out of his mind most of the time because they just didn’t compliment each other well.
