I’ll preface by saying this is all “rumors” and obviously don’t believe everything you read on the internet.
But the story goes Pruitt and Kirby got in a pissing match over a 5* in the last cycle and both got their hands stuck in the cookie jar during this investigation. Can’t remember if he said Mullen was part of that or if that was its own thing.
He’s been somewhat vague throughout but he’s one of our best members with sources around the SEC. Well see in the coming weeks if he’s right or not.

Andy Staples is saying it’s the tv deal with ESPN. They will now own the rights to all SEC games. Also, while CBS plans to finish out the contract through 2023, that could change for the right price.

I think the running argument goes both ways. The lack of a running game means Trask gets a chance to pad stats. On the other hand, teams have to respect Bama’s run game while Trask throws against teams dropping into coverage.

I don’t know why our fans think a good season will help us that much in recruiting. We’ve already had two pretty good seasons and teams with less success and shorter tenured head coaches still beat us on the trail.
Dan Mullen isn’t a great recruiter. It’s not his assistants, the facilities or our lost decade.

I think many of you are misunderstanding the post. I’m not predicting a decline or no more titles for LSU. I’m saying this is probably the most historic season for the rest of your lifetime

I agree but I wonder if it will take another down period for you to truly start appreciating the highs again. Like this past season for Florida wasn’t great or anything but it started to be a fun again. Whereas 10+ years ago it would’ve been frustrating losing to our two best opponents.

There's a decent sized proportion of our fan base that still thinks Franks is just as good if not better than Trask and it blows my mind. I think most believe fans can never question coaches' decisions since they know more about football than fans do so obviously Franks must be better.
