I am as Southern as a bowl of collard greens and cornbread. I still speak with the voice of someone raised in the rural South. I don't get this about various schools not being "southern enough" to be in the SEC.
Do people not travel outside their own little corner of the world?
I have traveled everywhere and found people to be just that - people.
BTW, my wife is from the Midwest. I have been living with a "Yankee" for decades.

The B12 are your SEC overlords now. Embrace it. Resistance is futile.

Your best win this past season was a 5 loss Michigan squad. When yall play a normal SEC schedule instead of just having UGA, were all gonna take a turn

Funny, before we joined the SEC and there was talk of Mizzou joining the Big 10, a common comment on Big 10 message boards was they didn't want us southern hicks at Missouri joining their prestigious and academically rigorous conference.

Missouri is neither north or south. It’s pretty much as “border state” as a border state can get.

Which is why they want us gone.

That's irrelevant. You were never wanted by fans/alum. You'll always be unwelcomed and eventually Sark will get back in the bottle and you'll be back at square one. But we do appreciate the extra revenue.

Clemson went 0-3 against SEC teams this year. ACC and Big 12 teams are not good

I'll give Texas a pass. If you wore gray in the original southeastern conference, you can stay. I hate that they joined, but they're sort of a legacy member, to me.

Nor is Atlanta or Nashville .... .id venture a guess,.more than half of both is full of Yankee transplants

Nashville is cool for a day or two, but the people are absolutely not southern

DEI rankings. No one in the ACC or Big 12 beat anybody of substance in out of conference play.

The only decent team Clemson beat was SMU. The other 4 teams they played with a pulse (UGA, Louisville, USCe, Texas) they got their arse handed to them. They would have lost to a bad Pitt team if Narduzzi didnt shite his pants in the final seconds

Look at Clemsons other wins:

App St
Citadel
FSU
NC State
Wake Forest
Stanford
V Tech

Sark can bottle or not. Texas money is what makes this thing.

As we should same as UGA Bama, etc "coerced" the conference to have them at locations close to their campus. ATM, Texas, OU, and Arky are all relatively close to Dallas or Houston and no reason why the conference titles in sports shouldnt rotate to other locations.

This idea is old. I’m sure no matter where you put things SOMEBODY will chime in with the “but it’s closer to _____’s campus giving them an advantage!”

This is particularly interesting on championship games where any 2, at least, of 16 teams could be in that contest.

Don’t remember posters saying UGA having that advantage when they weren’t playing in the fb title game in Atlanta.
