What a shame that this program has fallen so much after Saban.

quote:

Alabama finished 2025 at 11-4
, 7-1 in the SEC, beat Oklahoma in the CFP first round, then got smashed 38-3 by Indiana in the Rose Bowl. The program is outside the preseason top 10 for the first time since 2008: No. 13 AP, No. 11 coaches. Ty Simpson, Kadyn Proctor, Germie Bernard, and Parker Brailsford are gone. The run game was 125th nationally last year. AK Dear is out about six weeks with an ankle injury; five-star freshman EJ Crowell has been dinged as well. New OL coach Adrian Klemm is still stitching together a front that lost four starters.

I really don't know if there is enough bounce in the program to come back from these losses and massive disorganization.

Not saying we were perfect, but at least we had enough sense to fire our coach. Y'all are still stuck in the same questionable position as you were last year.

Probably the biggest loss is the inability to buy players via the REC like you always did. It is an even playing field now when it comes to recruiting and the Bama legacy is nothing but an empty line offered by a used car salesman who had been trying to sell the same old car for a year. Nobody is buying it anymore. What a sad implosion.

For a program that finished in the bottom half of the conference in Football last year, finished 14th in baseball, and dead last in basketball, y'all sure do talk a lot about other people's downfall.

You mean the year we:
-Beat TN
-Beat UGA (in Athens)
-Beat LSU
-Beat AU
-Made the SECCG
-Made the CFP
-Won a game in the CFP
-Lost to the eventual NC

What an incredible show of love and respect from LSU fans that they would consider a year where despite having the entire offense injured at the end of the year accomplishing all those things is a sign of a "fallen" program.

It’s been fun to watch ex-LSU HC, Nick Saban, love on LSU so much the further he gets away from Alabama.

The guy just loves LSU.

LOL, This is what the BAMA obsession looks like to the corndogs. You guys have a primetime game this week to basically kick off CFB but, hey, let's post about BAMA. I guess the more things change, the more they stay the same.

So you are saying that fans should focus on their own teams? What an original thought that is considering the LSU obsession here during the off-season. I have posted more about Bama football than any of their own fans have.

Postseason prediction: CFP first-round win, quarterfinal loss. Final record 11-3. Finish in the 8–10 range in the AP poll.

I just imagine someone telling 2006 me this...then telling me that it was considered a bad season and folks wanted to fire the coach. Its comical

Poor 11-win BAMA, which made it to the Playoff.

BAMA Basketball 2025 - Elite Eight.

Now do LSU.

LSU is a GREAT job... if you're good enough, you'll eventually move on to one of the good programs.

It's a great stepping stone!

Since LSU won in 2019, Alabama has been to the CFP 4 times. LSU hasn't been at all.

Maybe hold off on throwing shade until LSU actually turns the corner?

I honestly can't think of a single head coach in any sport who left LSU for a better college job.
