It's kinda perverse. I don't really even consider LSU and Bama to be rivals.
But damn y'all are obsessed. The shear number of new threads started to go after Bama is insane.

I get it when it comes to football. Pretty much 2 alphas that just so happened to be in the same division up until a few years ago and then the whole Saban thing. Yeah that kinda waned after a while but the talent between the 2 has always been comparable and usually the games meant post season implications and obviously the past does play a factor. These 2 teams fought some wars, so not a true rivalry but still generally an intense game.
Other sports, I don't really get it but I guess that is the SEC. Dogpile whenever an opponent is down, but I actually admire what LSU has with their baseball program. Wish Bama had that. LSU had a ton of success in baseball and it gives their fans something to look forward to in the Spring. I think most Bama fans are meh toward baseball. Probably because the team has always been pretty average. I would like to think Rob is leading them to being better than that and interest picks up like it did this year. Hopefully this arse beating in Omaha doesn't detract from what he has done in his brief time in T-town or lead to a school more baseball focused making him an offer and he leaves.

It's due to this basically being an LSU board, so obviously a few LSU fans are going to talk shite and sunshine pump.
Then there are certain posters from various fanbases who have made it their entire identity to talk shite back to LSU because the LSU sunshine pumping bothers them, so we get this constant back and forth.
