They needed it, it was the only way they were getting a winning record this year. With 3 losses already on the schedule and a possible 4th in Auburn. LSU needed 2 gimmes.

We actually got screwed. Unlike Bama, we want to play the best teams. We are pissed we aren’t playing somebody better than vandy and mizzou.
Expect these games to be 50-point blowouts to send a message to the SEC: We are still the best team in the nation.

You realize even if LSU loses 4 games this year, we'd still have a winning record, right?
No doubt it'd be a disappointment, but it'd still be a winning record.
Too bad UGA dodged us...that'd be a certain W for LSU.

I would say money well spent on Bama's behalf since Bama has not had to play LSU, UGA & Florida on the season schedule since 1991 while LSU has been scheduled all three 8 times in that same time period...

Yes...and before you come running back saying they have go back and read what I said, I said season schedule, not meeting either Florida or UGA in the SEC title game to complete the trifecta...

Can we be real honest about this:
The SEC East is who loses here. Maybe Arkansas from the West but the reality is they suck so no games would be cake walks.
Everyone else has to play one of either uga or uf which are basically the same. And the other 5 East schools are really about the same pig with different color lipsticks

We only get 10 games this year, I'd trade Vandy for UGA and Mizzou for Tennessee in a heartbeat
Vandy vs Arky & LSU vs Georgia would be much more interesting games (even though we've beat the hell out of UGA the past two years)
That said I think Florida is the team to beat this year so that will be a great game
