OH DEAR GOD you uncomprehending shite for brains. You are too dumb to even understand what you read. God damn bottom-feeding sidewalk-motherfricker-t-shirt-wearing 87 point IQ Gumps, like a fricking perennial episode of Hee Haw. Arguing points conceded ten times over, not comprehending simple distinctions, generally ensuring that the board always has that lowest common denominator element. Did you ever consider READING what I actually wrote before responding with some Harvey Updyke- but Pawwwl -level bullshite? Holy shite , would the last person who can still THINK and follow rationally, please turn out the lights. I don't even know what to say. No matter where I go, idiots abound. Like a whole country sharing the same clown car, with maybe five people able to fricking T H I N K.

saban lost to UAB while at LSU. UAB.

Besides the ole miss game name another with clock management issues?

What forgetfulness of down and distance?

Didn't exactly start from the same spot. Saban's first season followed a three-win season. Miles' first season followed a nine-win season.

Cue the pumpers about how deranged our fanbase is.

Since Bama fans bring up that Les won with Saban's recruits, they prove Spurrier's point. Saban is a great recruiter, good coach. Thanks for clearing that up.

8 of his 10 seasons top 15 finishes
6 of his 10 seasons top 10 finishes.

1 of the best win % in sec history and the #1 ooc win % in sec history. So yeah

This is so overblown. Saban's first season at lsu he had some of the greatest players to ever wear purple and gold. Josh reed, Bradie james,Rohan Davey. His 2000 team had 15 future nfl players and he lost 4 games. We had back to back top 15 finishes in 96&97. Saban did inherit a lot of talent.

Don't come on here and troll. It's obvious who the better coach is. See the trophy case.

They both have the same winning percentage and same amount of national championships at LSU. Thoughts?

Just think, if LSU could have stayed on the field with Arkansas last year, Miles could have been ahead of Saban.

And Bama beat the team that beat the pac 12, big east, and sec east champs, & Bama won the national championship in the BCS's 1st and only shutout championship game.

Well a squirrel will find a nut if you keep letting him search for it.....You also forgot to say Bama was only team in BCS history to not win its division and play for the title.....not win its conference and play for the title.........not have a SOS in the top 70 and play for the title........

in before 21-0

Yes Les and Saban are considered coaching equals in college football. Just ask anyone around the country.

No one is going to argue that point.

But... People who actually follow college football very closely know that Alabama has recruited the top classes in college football 8 of the last 9 years. Saban could never replicate that type of recruiting anywhere else but Alabama.

This is why he wins. This is why Alabama was an ideal place for him after he failed at Miami.

Saban was only 75% the coach at LSU that he is at Alabama. This IS the point.
