They both have the same winning percentage and same amount of national championships at LSU. Thoughts?

Saban left a better product than what he arrived with.

Saban turned it around.
Les kept it going for a few years.

Same amount of championships, but Saban did it in Les years.

Miles has done it in a more competitive SEC.

Didn't each win it in their third?

Saban took it from the valley to the peak

Les took it from the peak and may or may not be headed to the valley. Time will tell. I'm not ready to write him off and all programs go through cycles. After a few more 7-8 win seasons Les may crank out a streak of 10+ win seasons. I think he's that good.

For someone who can't take it, you sure seem to like to dish it out.

I think what hurts Les is his lack of offensive progression. Leaning on a good D will only win you so much. I think most LSU fans feel he has underachieved with the talent he has had. And they have a point.

What was Les' winning percentage with Saban players vs. winning percentage with only Les players?

How do LSU fans feel about the circumstances that led to the losses at LSU between both Saban and Les? I don't remember the faux pas' of Saban's tenure at LSU, but I do know of Les' clock management issues, forgetfulness of down and distance at critical times of the game, and his stubborness in continuing with an obviously flawed game plan (01/09/12 among others).

if saban stays at lsu, he would have become lsu's legend. instead, he bolted for the nfl and landed at a university that already has a legend. miles will be lsu's bear. saban blew his opportunity to become a school's legend.

He's doing pretty good and is legendary already at Bama. Can he become THE legend at Bama...this may be blasphemous, but he's pretty close.
