Yes, the source for this news is a Texas 8&4 “insider.” This reeks of butthurt that LSU never offered Jumbo.

That we continue to hear stories about Jimbo and LSU tells me someone is trying to leak information to justify Jimbo's raise and extension after an 8-4 season

So none of LSUs “inside sources” knew a damn thing during the search, but now this is Leaking?
If I had to put money on it, I’d say this is what Sexton/Jimbo wanted, not what was offered.

Wrong, it shows that one of your “insiders” is making shite up to make Texas 8&4 look like it didn’t essentially bid against itself on its own coach when it gave Jumbo his raise/extension.
