No series is more even the UF-LSU
From head to head record(which is tied I believe) to SEC titles, to National titles, from NFL draft picks, to Heisman Winners.
So never understood UF fans insulting the LSU program or LSU fans insulting UF.
It is basically mocking the person you see in the mirror.....

This doesn't seem to be accurate.
The 2020 game was #5 Florida vs unranked Ole Miss, so I doubt Ole Miss was favored.
The 2009 Tennessee matchup was #1 Florida vs unranked Tennessee in Gainesville, so again, doubtful that Tennessee was favored.

Same here. As much as I want to get after the younger generation for being soft, I personally won’t go work outdoors in this Vegas heat.

you're more or less pretty close to spot on
If you ignore vacated wins which I've always thought is dumb, LSU leads 35-34-3
LSU has 5 national titles to Florida's 3
LSU has 685 weeks in the AP top 25 to Florida's 648 (not a huge difference considering how many years that encompasses)
LSU has 38 weeks at #1 compared to Florida's 41
Florida has 60 1st round picks to LSU's 54
The biggest difference is LSU has 16 conference tittles to Florida's 8, and LSU has a decent lead in total wins and all-time winning %.

This SEC Network website has LSU listed for 11 SEC titles. Also I am claiming '84, '85, and '90 which gives UF 11. If other teams can win the conference championship while on probation, so can we.

I'm talking about total conference championships. The two schools haven't always been in the SEC. If you go to winsipedia.com and select the two schools, it will do a side by side comparison of a bunch of different metrics

LSU has 12 SEC titles, 1 Socon Title, and 3 SIAA titles for a total of 16 conference titles.
Florida has 8 SEC titles plus one that was vacated for a total of 9

I know when it's really cold, you lose body heat through the top of your head. That's why we spend so much on good hats to keep us warm. But by cooling the head with an conditioned helmet seems like it would send the wrong signal to your body tricking it into thinking you are cooler than you really are. Be interesting to see how it comes out.
Seems like we played Oregon a long time ago and they were worried about the heat and humidity (Sep game) so they wore experimental cooler vests. I don't remember how that came out (other than we lost) but haven't heard they were in mass production. Of course Nike was doing the experiment.

If you're just seeing this, are you aware of a couple of other things? Two things I read Texas has been doing with the big linemen years ago. I think it took off after a big died of heat stroke in Maryland or Michigan I'm guessing.
The bigs will swallow a pill sized device that sends a signal out that tells an electronic reader what their body internal temperature is as an early warning. Don't ask how they recover the device.
When they're suspected of overheating, or just as a precaution, they wear a full torso vest that has plastic tubing woven in like a heat exchanger. Portable cooling water systems along the sidelines and tubing with quick disconnects can quickly be attached to the vest and chilled water begins flowing around their torso to lower body temperature quickly.
Read about this over 10 years ago. Don't know if other schools are using however.
