Might as well schedule an OOC opponent. I’d rather play Florida or Auburn anytime. This manufactured “Rivalry” is ridiculous.

LSU-Auburn was the ultimate manufactured rivalry. I remember when they tried to start calling it “the Tiger Bowl.”

Sad to see LSU-UF go, though.

Bama’s their only true rival IMO. The West comes down to that game.

I've been told both Aggy and LSU love one another. Zero rivalry

LSU and A&M fans pretending they aren’t obsessed with each other is hilarious to everyone else on this board.

I know right. It's not like we've played since the 1800s and in almost every decade since then yet we didn't share a conference 90% of the time.

When I was younger the Texas am game was huge. We used to tell the light bulb jokes in elementary school. Who many aggies does it take to change a light bulb?

I remember hot sweaty day games in tiger stadium, in the 90's.
Unfortunately, LSU kept getting their arse whipped by A&M.
2010 cotton bowl felt like a great revenge game.

Drunk in vegas sitting next to a table of Lsu fans was not the greatest way to watch. But there were more of us than them so they calmed it down a little.

Played 61 times despite only being in the same conference for about a decade.

We are 3-8 in the SEC vs them. They are 2-9 vs Bama in the same span. So if we arent LSU's rival, I guess that means Bama isnt theirs either? Cant have it both ways.

More like 2012.

This is the cost associated with using your school-issued books to put your '88 Cutlass on blocks while you get your new rims off layaway.

100%

Our fans are delusional seeing as Aggie kicked our teeth in. Embarrassing but true.

Really hope your program finds enough success to make this worth while.

Even Tulane beat us in the 80s. It happens.
