I agree. I was there in 97 to rush the field against UF. Beating #1 IF after being in the archer and Curley drought was acceptable. Especially after some of those 44-3 loses Florida handed us.

But act like you have been here. It was a epic ending but we haven’t lost to OM at home in 7 games (14 years)

I agree it was absurd, but also know how young people act these days not being able to take a step without a phone in their hands. Social media has brainwashed people into thinking every moment of their lives needs to be shared with anyone and everyone.

All of that said, it was an incredible 4th quarter and OT environment on national TV between two top 10 conference opponents, first night game in several years with that kind of atmosphere, first light show with the new stadium improvements, and a huge win for the CBK era. Everyone expected Ole Miss to score 40 to 50 points and our defense played their asses off.

Recruits certainly took note of how Saturday Night in Death Valley used to be and can be going forward after suffering through the boring Les Miles era, god awful Ed Orgeron days excluding everything about 2019, and the first couple of subpar seasons under Kelly rebuilding what Orgeron left.

Why did the fans rush the field? Kiffin? Ole Miss fans running their mouth? LSU is one of the top brands in college sports.

This thread is showing a lack of self awareness.

A&M stormed the field over two 3 loss LSU teams, in 2018 and 2022.

Jimbo was the coach. We were excited to beat anyone.

I've seen them carry 3 head coaches off the field on shoulders after beating some mediocre A&M teams

you have also seen LSU hoist 3 national championship trophies in the last 20 years, meanwhile in College Station they have nothing to hoist except each other...

You swore he was great though.

But you're rushing the field because of wins over 3 loss teams then coming here to whine about LSU rushing the field for a win over a 2 loss team.

Whatever it takes for you to prepare for Texas hanging 70 points on you.

LSU does weird things.

Like play in 4 national championships since 2000, winning 3 of them.

Like winning the SEC 5 times since 2000.

Like having a home field at Tiger Stadium that we refuse to let A&M win at….very weird for you I’m sure.

these figs are obsessed. LSU and A&M will be playing each other for the right to go to the SECCG in a couple weeks.

If fAggie beat their stepdaddy LSU I guarantee theyll storm the field just to get the chance to play daddy Longhorn in the SECCG. Closest fAggy will get to a championship in nearly 100 years

What EKG said. it was a helluva exciting win, and an important one to keep playoff hopes alive and move in top 10, and kick kiffin to the curb.

stupid and embarassing original post.
