You are clearly an idiotic troll. Doesn't have the pieces? This team is always FAST. It's one of the reasons why the SEC is dominating. Size and speed. Another reason why LSU destroyed Oregon two years ago. I believe if anyone can make this offense good, it can be someone like Cam Cameron.

Damn, this topic got the bouchers riled up real quick.

I guess it's the ultimate slap in the face to go from saying "dat gimmick shite won't weauxrk in da SEC!!!!1" all preseason long, then watching that team have a better season than you, then watching your team adopting the philosophy you were hating on so much. Must be rough.

LSU is not adopting A&M's philosophy. You think Mett is going to scramble all over the field? They will run some no huddle but not a ton will change. More passes to the TE's and RB's and a little quicker pace. They wont be no huddle the entire damn game. You would swear LSU was going to attempt to be Oregon next year.

I can't wait until Alabama goes no huddle...
Why the hell would Alabama change their offense?

Alabama is just about as multiple as any team can get. They execute and they produce points.

I've seen AJ in play action pass ~ 3 step ~ 7 step drop ~ shotgun ~ rollout ~ RB screen ~ utilize TE's. The offense can spread out the defense and run the RB's up the gut. I've seen them go HUNH during games as well.

No, but between Oregon and A&M it has reached something close to perfection

19 points is perfection?

A&M is the first program to run this particular type of offense with elite level talent, and the results speak for themselves.

LSU ran a ton of no huddle last year. We'd run up to the line of scrimmage and run the toss lead out of no huddle.

True story.

Manziel's improvs aren't part of A&M's offensive scheme, I just meant a more up-tempo, spread offense. Not "air raid" or shotgun every play, just more downfield action.

We'll see. Not being a troll - NFL coordinators have not been able to get it done at the College level. I think more than anything this has to do with the fact they cannot dumb it down enough for the students.

Remember, these football players only have a limited time to learn schemes and such. NFL players have a HUGE playbook, and it is a full time job.

If running a pro offense at this level, it takes a really intelligent QB to make it work, or a crap load of talent like you guys have. But seriously, I remember LSU touting Mett last year - kid was a disaster... Don't you have anything better with all those stars you guys recruit?

It is like the Longhorns running no huddle - when you build a team around a POWER running game, you can't just transition like that

Cannot wait to see the Texas and LSU offenses in the Fall - neither will be worth a crap

You mean not worth a crap as in worse than the offense that went to your house and beat the ags last year. Yeah, im sure this offense will be much worse

Let's not prentend like this is a coincidence. A&M joins the SEC, has great success with it and the next year LSU decides t go with a no-huddle approach?

I understand you're new, but LSU has run no-huddle in the past, and A&M is not the first no-huddle team in the SEC.

It's so cute to see the Aggies fired up. LSU, UF, and Bama are disappointed when they go 10-2. LSU had a terrible Offense last year and still beat the aggies but you make a stupid commit about "elite talent, and the results speak for themselves." Yall had 1 pretty good year, probably the best team in Aggies history but get over yourselves. Ya'll were pretty good. Not at all Great and i promise no one is copying you.

Your Louisiana jimmies are in all sorts of knots.

The amount of rustling in this thread usually takes at least 5-6 pages to achieve.

You can pull that card all you want, your team earned you that right, but don't kid yourself. You would have rather had our season. We would want to switch results with Bama too even though we beat them.

Edit to apply this to the 5 other bouchers who pulled this same card in the time it took me to write that.

Gotta have the QB. See: Malzahn with Cam and without. See TAMU with Manziel. Of course, how successful would Cam have been if he played in a 2nd year?

A&M and Auburn lined up in the shotgun the majority of the time, and that's where the similarities end.

You're just another in a long line of college football fans who have the dumbed down "shotgun = spread = all the same" mindset. A&M ran an entirely different offense compred to 2010 Auburn, from the blocking schemes to the run/pass ratio to the construct of the passing game.

A&M is the first team to run the Hal Mumme/Mike Leach/Dana Holgerson style with the kind of talent A&M had last year. The closest second was 2008 Texas Tech and 2011 Oklahoma State.
