No. The guy wasn't lying. His wife passed away and he posted it on the Alabama board and Off Topic board, for prayers. Another poster suggested Go Fund Me. You pledged to donate to it, then you reneged. The only liar is you, and enough posters remember the situation to know it.
To pledge a donation and then renege is bad enough. To lie about it just proves moreso what a p.o.s. you really are.

You know there was a 100+ page topic on the OT board that exposed this guy as a lying POS, right?
He also disappeared shortly thereafter.
It's why fundraisers can no longer be posted on the board unless it can be confirmed to be real by Chicken.

This is true. Most of them wouldn't have gone to college otherwise and many of them wouldn't get through without all the assistance provided to cfb players. I hope they realize the importance of getting a degree and changing their situations if football doesn't work out so they don't have to go back to nothing.

Actually, college football is a mix of silver spoon kids and project kids. Silver spoon kids parents have resources and the broke kids have the support of the want to win crowd all the way through school.
