I really don’t know. And neither do you. Hopefully we have at least set them way back on their nuclear ambitions and reduced their ability to make trouble.

Golden Steer if you can snag a reservation. Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is a good outing out of the city. Ditto for Valley of Fire State Park.

I’m going to guess that that wasn’t the reason.

If I’m fielding calls and some rando dude tells me he’s the Pope, I’m probably hanging up too.
re: US spy agencies agreed Iran wasn't building a nuke before war started

Then why won’t the Iranians end it by agreeing to end their nuclear weapons program? Hmmm.

Uh, if the Iranians aren’t exporting oil it’s no victory for them. This should have been done long ago. Give them a choice. They can cause trouble or they can export oil. But not both.

Meh, is it really a war at this point? We are strangling the Iranians via blockade. This should have been done years ago TBH.

re: Thoughts on global warming/climate change?
Posted by SloaneRanger on 5/2/26 at 6:59 am to UFFan
First, there’s never been a time in the Earth’s history when the climate hasn’t been changing. Second, nothing man does or doesn’t do has a meaningful effect on said change. Third, the whole thing is a Chinese plot to induce the West to voluntarily destroy their industrial economies. It has worked beyond their wildest dreams.
