Not to take anything away from Brennan, and it absolutely sucks for the guy that he is hurt. However, Johnson didn’t have Gilbert or Marshall When he went into the Swamp and gutted out a road victory against a top 10 team as a true Frisch. That kid is going to be rally good.

Brennan’s third down and red zone percentages were atrocious. So it was physical throwing talent vs run ability and clutch play (mental game). We’ll never know who would have won out now.

Why not only use the games Johnson started?
Oof! That really kills the narrative, doesn't it?
I don't have a narrative. I let the #s speak and spoke fairly clearly. But sure, let's ignore data. I am sure that is exactly what O did. Sure you sucked those 3 games where you didn't take the very first snap, but I'll ignore 40% of your attempts because sidewalk said so.

I think this is a little overstated.
Florida threw a shoe.
I like Max, but Brennan was just better passing downfield. That was last year though, hopefully Max has been hard at it this off-season.

LSU will be fine and both Brennan and Johnson went through Spring and Summer with the new OC.
The bonafides for both QBs are better than just about all recent LSU QBs save one obviously.
Agree - Brennan and Johnson both looked capable so LSU should be fine with Johnson. The real story is about depth now. Whereas LSU was in a nice position with a capable backup whichever of them started; now, if Johnson goes down the LSU offense could be impotent.

He didn't suck in those games, you dumb redneck
He had better completion percentages in all of his partial games and it artificially inflates his yardage per game.
The only metric that is hindered by keeping his partial games is points per game and wins which is the narrative you're attempting to troll with.

Actually 38.
There was a pick six by LSU in each game.

How many top 5 wins does Brennan have?
Show the opponents who the stats came against. Myles lit up vandy, state and mizzou.

Lsu went 0-2 vs teams that finished in the top 5 last year.

Trash tier production from a true freshman right now, according to Farmer.

Go ahead and bookmark this. Sidewalk thinks Johnson the next Burrow. I think he's not as good as Brennan. We'll revisit and you can tell me I'm right.

Have you forgotten the last series on offense we had with Max in our game with y’all last year? You guys wanted the shutout so badly. And that cat went in there and rolled the whole way down the field. Pissed your D off. TJ blew that game with his two picks one being a pick six. If Max plays the entire game the outcome possibly could have been different. That last drive a spark turned on and he carried that over to the Fla/OM game. Can’t wait to see what he can do with a full roster and a team that is coming back almost in its entirety.
