Go ahead and bookmark this. Sidewalk thinks Johnson the next Burrow.

Has anyone seen me make this statement in this thread?

Anyone?

The Johnson like offense scored 82% of its points in the 4th when the other team called off the dogs.

You can keep repeating that aTm called off the dogs last year in the 4th quarter except all your starters were in and you were blitzing. You wanted so badly to save that shut out and just couldn’t do it against max Johnson.

Your best team this century beat our worst team this century by 13 points, and you had a pick 6 of an overwhelmed true freshman (finely) for 7 of them.

I’m not saying Johnson is the next burrow. I’m not even saying he’s going to be great. I just know the team was 100% bought in with him playing, they never quit, and we beat 2 teams that we would have lost too had finely started.

Why have you lost 8 of 10?

To be fair, one of those games was against Ole
Miss, the only defense worse than ours last year.

Because Les was better than Sumlin. And I don't think Lsu is not good.

No doubt.

I personally thought Brennan was the better player. I think the playbook is open more with him and I think he can make throws that Johnson can't. He also was around in 2019 so will likely be more familiar with what LSU runs this season.

Hopefully Max can take a leap forward after finally getting an offseason under his belt and can help LSU be competitive in 2021.

So you agree with me. You just hate to say I’m right again.

Wow. I saw them saying that Johnson was better last year.

Not hardly, but Brennan suffered from a terrible offense at the beginning of the year. He had one bad half against Miss State. Then we had the Finnly run which was like watching Jamarcus Russel his first year, could not hit the side of a barn with a pass. Max came in and gave us a spark at the end of the year and once all the players that did not want to play was gone, team came together nicely to destroy Florida's dreams of a play off birth! Max looked good last year, not as good as Brennan, but he showed some really nice instincts.

I never said anything about your statement that Brennan was better than Johnson.

I said your numbers were skewed to push a narrative and I pointed out that Max actually didnt "suck" in the partial games he played in.

Glad to help you out with that

I thought it was Dan Mullen that destroyed Florida's dreams of a playoff birth by resting 12 players because he didn't think he needed them against LSU.

I know they sat the tight end but who were the other 11?

Did TJ really blow it vs Bama?

Yes, but not because of the loss. That was a forgone conclusion. He blew it because he showed no development or progress.

Max was 2-0 and played well in both of those games, though he 100% caught some lucky breaks.

If UF doesn't throw a shoe or if Pitts plays, LSU most likely loses. UF's defense was also ranked worse than any Myles played against.

LSU only beat Ole Miss by 5 despite their QB throwing 5 interceptions. They essentially beat themselves. Ole Miss also had the second worse defense that year.

I think Max will be a good QB for LSU this year, but let's not act like he killed it last year. His numbers were pretty pedestrian.

Fortunately with our defense, pedestrian will still be good enough to win 9, maybe 10 games.

Johnson was inserted in the 3rd quarter, down 20-0, after TJ's horrendous performance. This is why I hate you. You spit complete bullshite on this rant everyday. You know nothing, and I am tired of seeing your name on here simply bashing LSU when you are delusional about everything you talk about. Here's proof of exactly when Max came in for AtM, 6 minute mark.

If your QB played how TJ played against Bama, would you say they blew it?
