Jimmy Hyams is the least "in the know" reporters in Knoxville.
When he "broke" this news last night, he said Tennessee offered "Brian Baker" not Blake.
LSU beat reporters all said Baker wasn't contacted.
Jimmy comes out and looks stupid again.
All that to say- this is a shite show and we'll make up for not embarrassing ourselves on this one.

I don’t believe any coaching rumors anymore. Most of them are just agents posting stuff or coaches publicly stating no interest after getting passed over.

Do you not have reading comprehension. Why would you make fun of LSU when the LSU coach is the one that turned it down. Yea make fun of LSU if the LSU coach is turned down. But not the other way around. Makes no sense.

People made fun of LSU cause you had one coach for sure turn you down for the LSU DC job.
Then had another Saints LB coach that Coach O waited on that either played you to get a raise from the saints or your administration didnt check his contract well enough to see if he could even be hired from the Saints. Either way, pretty embarrassing.
Now you have a shite postion coach at DC that's never been a DC at the division one level that your fans had a fricking come apart about when he was hired... but now have convinced themselves he is going to be good.

None of that nonsense has anything at all with Blake Baker which is who this thread is about. You said that this is a reason that people are making fun of LSU.

Yes, yall are making fun of UT getting turned down for a coaching job, the same way everyone made fun of LSU a few weeks ago when they got turned down.
If you dont see the irony of the OP considering the fun being made of LSU a few weeks ago, I dont know what to tell you.
