When I said "some of you" I was referring to Bama fans.

We won, y'all lost. Got it?

They'll go to the Sugar and beat the snot out of someone but quit whining about all this conjecture garbage because that's exactly what it is.

BTW-I wasn't directing this at you, just how I see it. I mean seriously. It's not that difficult, we won, in their stadium, they lost. Quit all the "but, but, but if this happens and if so and so had made that catch and yadda yadda....." Look at the final score.

Man, if this is your definition of good sport, then you must have also had a good win last night.

What the frick are you talking about? Go full basement dweller and check my post history since last night. I've congratulated LSU on the win multiple times, haven't made a single excuse about our loss, have stuck up for the game every time I've seen it categorized as 'boring' and have mentioned at least once that I hope LSU goes the rest of the way and wins it all, no matter who they face.

Even in this thread, I wasn't addressing the possibility of a rematch, something I personally don't think should happen.

I was addressing the whole "I AIN'T frickIN' SCARED OF BAMA!!" macho bullshite.

LSU won in an unbelievably tight, unbelievably awesome game, yet some of these cocksuckers are acting like the score was 200-0. Maybe it's just me. I can't understand how someone would piss all over a historically awesome win by trying to denigrate their competition.

After winning by 3 in OT, anyone who thinks LSU is certain to beat that opponent again is deluded.

If the system determines that they should meet again, yeah, I'll be just as nervous as yesterday.

But, there is the devil you know advantage. Ok State, especially, and Stanford present unknowns. Bama is a definite known, and we would be playing a "home" game.

Nervous, not scared.

Face it. You motherfrickers were just as scared as I was through that entire game. Just be honest about it. It doesn't change the fact that you won, and it doesn't revoke your license to swag for the rest of the season. It won't change the outcome of my 'favorite team' bet, which I lost and honored.

Why would anyone be "scared" of a football game? I might get excited and disappointed from time to time about the outcomes of games involving my alma mater, but in no way should I be scared of the outcome. The sun still rises tomorrow and if you are taking college football played by a bunch of 18-21 year olds that seriously you must not have a real high quality of life.

Seems that way. I know I would be. Honest answer.

If LSU wins out, Bama doesn't deserve another shot at them. End of story.

Scared is the wrong adjective.

You never want to play the same team twice that's for sure, but that's just what i want as a fan.

It's at least once in these kinds of discussions that an argument like this is trotted out and displayed for all the world, like a dog who is particularly proud of the cat turd he unearthed and brought home.

I know that the fricking Sun rises tomorrow. I know that life goes on, and I know that it's just a game.

Just like you know that I was referring to fear within the context of a game which we here in the South tend to get pretty damn emotionally invested in.

If you're really trying to intentionally take someone's words on the Internet and twist their context into an excoriation of their life and how they live it, then you must not have a real high quality of life.

With the way the BCS has shaped up with Bama at number 3, a rematch is a very big possibility. OK ST could easily lose, and everyone knows it. When that does happen, if it does, it'll be LSU 1, should they win out, and BAMA 2, should they also win out. Sorry rest of the country, but its looking possibly like the SEC will be winning the NCG again this year...

And this is why I don't believe there should be a rematch.

Gah. It was a great game. I'd just like some people to admit to it. I guess it's too soon after the fact to avoid the flames though.

Either way, congrats Tigers. Well won and you deserved it. No excuses from me.

Don't make stupid threads. It was a good game, LSU won and Bama lost. LSU has a chance to run the table and have a special season if they prove good enough. Bama has a chance to win out and make the sugar bowl which is a good season in its own right. End of story.

Not really scared just don't think it is fair. We win the West and have to play UGA in the SEC CG while you sit your loser arses at home watching and eating popcorn because you lost to us. We play an extra game with the possibility of losing and you stay home and watch.

That is not fair.

BTW Two teams have played in the NCG without winning their conference and we know how that turned out.
