When I think of the greatest and most powerful warrior in Greek mythology, I definitely think of Ellen Page. :rotflmao:

Sick of this BS. JJ should have put Cowan in, Guidry is just not good or consistent. Get this agonizing year over with. Damn.
Yep. I never thought I’d say this about LSU baseball, but this season can’t be over fast enough.

Mixed race couple right? Either that or the judge - Lee Heller previous played by Gregory Peck, is now an overweight sassy black woman?
The husband and kids are actually all white, but I’m sure the man will turn out to be a cuck and the wife will save the family at the end.

Possibly, and his lawyer this time around is the wife instead of the husband.

shite, they could’ve made older Theron Helen of Troy
And would’ve been fine.
True. She's more in the line of what most people visualize when they think of Helen. A classical beauty.
It's clear that Nolan made it a priority to assemble an ethnically diverse cast, which is fine I suppose, but strangely, I don't see any Greek actors in there anywhere. If there are, they are in minor roles.

Nyong'o is objectively attractive
I don't think she is entirely unattractive, but she's playing a character who is supposedly the most beautiful woman in the world. So beautiful that she started a war. I don't think they did a great job of casting here.

i was under the impression that Interstellar was her last movie. she "left" to raise her kid(s) or so from what i remember.
this was the only movie i was aware of her being in lately.
She was just in the sequel to The Devil Wears Prada. She was in some weird lesbian "horror" movie call Mother Mary. She's in The Odyssey and another movie called Verity, as well as The End of Oak Street, all of which have had trailers drop in the past month or so.

The sets and landscapes look amazing and then they start talking lol.
Exactly! Having Tom Holland's character call Odysseus "dad" immediately took me out of the scene. I guess Nolan wants to update the classic story for "modern audiences", which usually never goes well.
Also, what's the deal with Anne Hathaway? She's in everything. She's become the female version of Pedro Pascal.

My first thought as well
Same here. I assume that Nolan had Pattinson and Holland speak with American accents because the rest of the cast couldn't adopt a passable British accent? What are they going to do with Mia Goth and Lupita Nyong'o? Even if a movie is crap, having British actors in it always seems to elevate it a bit. It's the accents. Since Pattinson is the villain, I'm a bit surprised he didn't keep his accent.

Edward’s abdication/Wallis Simpson -
Elizabeth’s Dad and the connection to his cousin Tsar Nicholas II (Romanov)
These were both briefly covered in the earlier seasons of The Crown, but it would be great to see them expound on the events more.
I wonder if they will bring back Claire Foy and Matt Smith or if they will recast the roles of the young Princess Elizabeth and Prince Phillip. The actress they used to play Elizabeth as a teenager looked remarkably like Claire Foy. She would be a great choice.

No thank you. Those are supposedly agonizingly painful before you lose consciousness.
I want to go to sleep like it's any other night and just not wake up. The worst part of going that way is that you don't get to say goodbye. I don't want my loved ones' last memory of me to be that of seeing me in pain.

I disagree. I think she's done a good job this year. And, we have fired the Football and Basketball coaches this year. We need that money for those two sports more than winning a few more games in softball and losing money.
I don't think she's done a good job, but I don't recommend firing her this year. Simply don't renew her contract at the end of next season. It's time for her to put up or shut up. With OU and Texas joining the SEC, getting her team to a regional isn't enough. We've gone from being a conference front-runner to being a middle of the pack team, and we haven't sniffed the WCWS in ages.

I don’t think that many people realize just how badly Broome fricked up Baton Rouge. She decimated the BRPD and single-handedly destroyed downtown. Baton Rouge wasn’t perfect, but it was on the upswing during Kip Holden’s time in office. Broome undid all of that good work in her first term.

It’s just a matter of time before the situation starts to affect the university as well. Hell, it already has. Why do you think the student union is closed on football game days now, and why a once prime tailgating location is now fenced off?
