Beth recruits, Cleopatra Caldwell Fargas did not even do THAT!!

Beth recruits just fine, but players seem to regress once they get on campus. Winning 40+ games/year doesn't really mean shite when we usually finish around 8th or 9th in the conference, can't win either the SEC or the SEC tourney titles, and routinely get bounced in the regionals and supers.

Then you're young. Lsu was trash for decades prior to 2000

You can't compare teams from pre-NIL teams to now.

LSU paid almost $20 million dollars for the garbage we watched all season long.

Usually the sign of an undisciplined and poorly coached team.

Must be a shite ton of guys opting out. Shame.

Noted. Thanks teach.

I doubt the admin wants Coach O back on staff.

This. So far they've given Kiffin full reign as they should, but I wouldn't be surprised if they requested that he keep Orgeron out.

When you drop the entrance standards to pander to a specific demographic you will get that culture.

You can thank former LSU president Tate for that. When Matt Lee was interim, didn't he specifically say that LSU was going back to admissions testing? What are Dalton's thoughts on the matter?

Absolutely lovely little story that pieces together the legend of Christmas without taking anything away.

I like how the ending, while bittersweet, explains how Santa can be seemingly everywhere at once.

quote:

Even though it doesn’t lean into the Christian part of Christmas, it is a selfless tale

I think that "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town" may be the only version that ties together Santa's origins with the birth of Christ. That said, you're right in that Klaus tells a story of selfless love for others, which is at the core of the Holiday season.

It doesn't really plow any new ground as it's a bit of a mash up of other Dracula stories but it's well acted and definitely worth watching.

I've read more than one review saying it's just a bad remake of Coppola's Dracula, only set in Paris instead of London.

He loves LSU and would take almost any job we could give him.

Apparently that's not true. Kiffin reportedly wanted to retain him in an off-the-field role and he threw a shite fit.

LK didn't want Wilson coaching running backs.

I discovered it a couple of years back and watch it every year. I love that it's a Santa Claus origin story that never actually uses the words "Santa Claus."

How pathetic! They got him because we stole theirs and Kiffin let Thomas go.

The Family Stone

In spite of every character being an a-hole, I still like this movie. I think it's because it reminds me of my own family. They do a good job of giving you the Christmas vibe, including all the dysfunction.

Likewise. One of my favorite holiday films. Big old house packed to the rafters with family. Snow. And of course, the inevitable drama that ensues when a family member brings their significant other home for Christmas for the first time.

Every good thing that happens to Ole Miss in the playoffs is bad for LSU. We should not be contributing to their success in any way. Anyone who thinks LSU or Lane Kiffin will benefit from having LSU's 2026 offensive coordinator involved in Ole Miss' playoff success is some combination of nuts and naive.

I agree with you, but I trust that Kiffin knows what he’s doing, otherwise he would’ve never allowed it.
quote:

Shouldn't have let him or any of the assistants go back for the CFP. Let Golding field his offense.

LSU had to know that once Ole Miss got their hooks back into Weiss, they’d try to keep him. Ole Miss would’ve never done the same for us if they had poached our coach.

35K LSU fans

No. There weren’t 35K LSU fans at that game.

What say you guys?

This is also my all-time favorite version of A Christmas Carol. So well-acted by veteran British performers and the songs are great too. One of the first versions that I’m aware of to give more of a glimpse into the lives of the Cratchits as well as Scrooge’s doomed relationship with Isabelle. Although every version of the story ends the same way, Scrooge’s redemption here is so joyous that it makes this film a holiday tradition.

Houston is LSU’s largest alumni base and LSU fans weren’t travelling to whatever bowl they got

True, but I don't think even the LSU fans who live in Houston will go to this game.

Sounding like Frank is throwing a tantrum

I think this is what it is. Kiffin already said he planned to retain Wilson, but in a non-coaching role. He wants to choose his own RB coach, and Wilson is pissed. Sorry Frank, but this is the Lane Kiffin show. Either fall in line or GTFO.
Going from four years with a bland, zero enthusiasm coach like Brian Kelly to a guy like Lane Kiffin is gonna be fun!
quote:

Yes i think he thought we were gonna whiff on Kiffin and we would panic and hire him

I thought it was more to do with the fact that Kiffin is supposedly planning to relieve him of his RB coaching duties and move him to an administrative role with recruiting. I'd be fine with that because his RB personnel rotations this season have been terrible.
