Agreed. They keep going on and on about this unstoppable force of an offense (that got shut down by Auburn),

23 points, 500+ yards of offense and 30 1st downs is getting shut down? I believe "contained" is the word you were looking for.

They’re the real deal, and if Auburn can come within one score of LSU, Clemson can certainly win this game. Don’t kid yourself.

Anything could happen, of course, but you're hitting on why I'm confident in this LSU team. They've already faced more talented defenses than this and performed fine. When they struggled it was because the defense was able to do something effectively that no one else had tried yet (Auburn with 8 DBs, MSU green dog blitzing and spying CEH). When they faced these things again from other teams it wasn't a problem.

The stats show that the LSU offense has performed better (relative to opponents normal points given up) as their opponents have gotten better.

What will Venables be able to do that we haven't prepared for? This isn't 2018 Alabama he is facing. As good as Tua and co. were then, they don't compare to LSU right now.

And you're calling someone ELSE arrogant?

LSU has the same amount of "meaningful" national championships as clemson does.

Can't wait to bump this one.

The Auburn game wasn’t nearly as close as you think. We outgained them 508-287 and had 30 first downs. We had 12 penalties for 118 yards and uncharacteristically had 2 turnovers. Burrow threw an interception In the red zone and Stingley fumbled a punt giving AU possession at the LSU 22. We also turned it over on downs at the Auburn 29 and the Auburn 1. On another possession we had 1st and 10 at the AU 29 and elected to punt on 4th and 15 from the 34 after a false start. We should have won by double digits even with the turnovers. It was the most conservative play calling all year.

I’ve never seen a more Arrogant and over confident fanbase heading into their first CFP NC game than the LSU crew on this site. When Clemson played Bama in our first CFP NC we were deferential to Bama and hoped to make a good showing. Try winning a meaningful NC game before mouthing off to the defending champs...oh and hope your team doesn’t choke.
No one gives a frick about what you think.

Yes, Clemson is good and LSU is good. I don’t think many LSU fans think it will be anything but a hard fought and close game?

For starters, LSU has already played 4 close games this year. It’s not like they’ve blown everyone out.
Clemson will definitely be the best team they’ve faced all year. Trevor Lawrence is a monster.

LSU’s defense has struggled vs good offenses, and Clemson’s will be the best one they’ve seen since Alabama.
Clemson also has a pretty good defense. At least good enough to get some stops

To top it off, Clemson has a coaching advantage in this game. As great as Joe Brady is, he doesn’t outweigh Dabo and Venebles

It’s gonna be a slugfest

GTFOOH!! Clemson is not the best team LSU has faced! They barely squeeked by Ohio State. And they were not the better team in that game! Everyone is under estimating Coach O! First he can't out coach Malzahn, Saban, and Fisher! Now it's Dabo! Well wake the frick up! LSU is going to BEAT THE BRAKES off of Clemson! Here is the reality! Clemson has not seen anything close to what they will see in New Orleans! LSU 48 Clemson 17

Bama and Auburn are both better than Clemson. They were the toughest games for LSU this season.

Either a track meet or a blowout. Nothing I’ve seen from Clemson says the keep LSU below 40 or maybe 50
