I expected better
Part of the problem, in my opinion, is that people had unrealistic expectations when Bo came on board. He is a great coach and recruiter but I don't think kids care about that as much these days. Personally, I wasn't expecting any big splashes this year in t...
I'm still not sold on raymond until I see some big gets. Pretty sure Kelly felt the same way which is why his contract is structured the way it is. Plenty of time for him to prove us wrong, but I'm not getting my hopes up on Raymond until we SIGN some big time DBs, which obviously won't happen u...
Hopefully we LSU donors can band together and contribute a similar amount of money.
Why do people keep implying we are so far behind in NIL every time we don't get a particular target? Right now, we have the #1 QB, WR, and RB in the 2025 class. Those guys aren't free just because...
Thank god. It's one thing to be a troll. It's another to spam the board with it....
see you are still running with this LARP
His name is fantasy after all ...
Yet many of us on here said, 'why don't you wait until the class is finished before complaining and acting like the sky is falling.' And you like many others said it was too late to make any big changes and we'd be lucky to even have a top ten class....
Does anyone have any info on his abilities as a coach? Sounds like he is familiar with Louisiana from prior stints at Louisiana schools and is also a good recruiter, but haven't seen much on his coaching abilities mentioned anywhere. ...

Raymond is an upgrade from what we had, but his last 4 years of coaching haven't been remotely close to "peak Raymond". With that said, there's no way of knowing if he really will come back with fire or not. That's just wishful thinking and similar to what everyone said about pelini when he was hi...
 you guys kill me. This dude is gonna have a job as OC or a position coach somewhere. He's not going to be an analyst. I don't want him here over Sloan, but he isn't as bad as some of yall make him out to be....
Can someone give a plausible scenario where this makes sense?
Raymond is on their radar, but they seem to be going after others in front of him and Raymond seems content to wait for an answer from LSU before exploring other options....
I think, at this point, if we end up with Raymond that means we struck out with a few others. He's definitely not the first pick here. That seems pretty obvious....
but the situation is very fluid...more moving pieces than normal for a process to replace coaches,
...

Would be a much better hire than Raymond. Hopefully this is our guy....
Chicken said it’s Raymond
Didn't he also say it was happening like 4 days ago? ...
:rotflmao: he's going to get an on field job somewhere. He's not going to be an analyst. This board is much more obsessed with Reese than they claim Kelly is....
Kelly can’t afford to take a chance on another position coach after House. LSU needs an experienced play caller
House was a DC at two different spots before he was hired at lsu....
Agreed. I don't know why people are acting like the guy sucks. He's a good coach. Recruiting remains to be seen but he has won everywhere he has been. I think Bama made the best possible hire....
He's gonna need a much better stable of horses than he had at U Washington
I mean Bama already has a loaded roster, and he managed to get to the CFP by bringing in Penix and maximizing what he could get at Washington. I think he will do fine short term and well long term if he ...
