this new offensive line was going to be really good.

It has nothing to do with that you moron, don’t comment on stuff that you are ignorant about. Le’Veon Moss wouldn’t be able to do shite if he played for us either because he would have no openings to run through.

No it’s more just the fact that 99.9% of LSU fans don’t give a shite about Missouri or our all time record against you because it’s irrelevant.

Don't really know what is more concerning. I do know that the best thing about LSU at the moment, is that they are living rent free all up in your head.

So sort of like Brian Kelly's record come the post-season.

So many Nay Sayers, doubters, about O line being Achilles heel for this offense. Not being able to play as a unit. BK said he was confident the O line could perform well. He was correct. The O line did the job against a very talented Clemson defense. Kudos to the O line for getting the job done. Have to admit I was worried about false starts, missed assignments, and QB sacks, hurries and interception for lack of protection, Thankfully I was wrong. Guess going up against a very stellar defense in practice helped the iron sharpening iron.

CBK's strength has always been getting a good OL. It's paying off this year for sure so far

The OL and TEs are the 2 positions that I wouldn't be worried about with a BK coached team. That's not to say they'll always be perfect, but he's been putting guys in the league at those 2 positions for almost as long as he's been coaching.

Our running game will be fine because we now have an experienced, explosive back who can see the crease and explode through it. His backups are also explosive. Our O-Line's job is to maintain a block while the RB finds the crease.

LSU's question marks are offensive line and RB depth. That's about it. They are loaded at WR and top end of their RB/TE pool. Obviously LSU has one of the best QBs in the country but they snagged the best C in the country and a very good G in the portal both who will start alongside an OL that has recruited well.

After reading all the background on Clemson Defense and their rock bottom stats against the run in 2024, coupled with dudes for Clemson along their Dline designed for pass rush, I think LSU runs right at them. Imposing their will with three straight scoring drives, and forcing Clemson to go 9 in the box to stop it.
Second half you see the energy sucked out of the building with punishing runs and hits by LSU. Clemson literally quits and LSU gashes them with 10 to 15 yard runs consistently to put the game out of reach at 45-16 to start the 4th quarter.

I can promise you that South Carolina runs the ball much worse than LSU.

Most teams have played 2 easy games to be fair..but it is a long season so who knows.

I think it has more to do with coaching.
I will admit to you that we wanted moss.
But the scheme is hurting the backs.

I think we can limit LSUs run game but our Tackles with Banks out don't have the fast moves to get after the QB and take full advantage of that center.
Posted on 9/8/25 at 8:26 am to captdalton
Literally no one said we were stacked at running back and we all knew the O-line was a weak link.

Bruh... if you can't catch Nuss, you got problems.

Big difference from Banks quickly shedding that center or a guard and the other DTs who will likely just get some push. If Banks plays Nuss will be uncomfortable all night like last years game. Some claim he isn't playing. We will see I guess.

absolutely no one said that. The o-line has been the concern all off-season

Clemson has a stout front 7, and our starting center went out the 1st play vs La Tech. Chester is bad.
