Not sure if I should go with the “I’m an idiot” or “I need to stop drinking” excuse

Might work out but certainly seems like a disappointing hire

Going on record now that this will be a total failure.

We could have hired Urban Meyer and Josh McDaniels and your dumbass would have said the same thing.

That was like Mr. Blonde’s response when he was questioned about the whereabouts of another bank robber in Reservoir Dogs. “Well either the cops got him, or they don’t, or he’s dead or he’s not.”

Apparently he was slated to be Josh McDaniels' OC when he was planning to take the HC job in Indy before he decided to stay in NE.

I personally like the hire. We got a young up-and-coming coach that has experience in the offense we want to run. I haven't seen the contract numbers yet, but it's probably on a "show me you can do" type salary vs. overspending on a washed-up old guy.

They’ll troll when Freeman is hired too. So predictable.

McDaniels wasn't about to let him call plays.

Could be a bust or could be amazing. I’m not excited.

I think it is a great hire. Young, smart, driven guys with longevity in the program as they build their rep.

I think it works out well with the talent, drive and culture of the program.

Peetz.... Interesting that Brady was willing to let two of his guys walk seeing as he may be assembling a coaching staff soon.

Isn’t that interesting though? Wouldn’t he want to keep “the best” around? Hmmm...
