LSU is hiring Jake Peetz as their offensive coordinator. Peetz worked with Joe Brady in Carolina this year and has over a decade of NFL experience.

We’ll see how this turns. On paper I like it a lot. Keeping the same system helps you build on the experience a very young team got in 2020.

He's from Nebraska. Remember when Nebraska was known for the option?

Interesting hire, obviously hoping he learned a lot from Brady in one year.

I know the guy has been at Alabama once, didn't realize he had two stops as an analyst.

I like young hires with NFL experience. He could end up being a Brady clone. Excited to see what he can do with our talented QBs

Is he bringing Joe Brady's playbook back with him?

Wait and see type of hire. He seems to be well regarded in NFL circles, McDaniels was going to hire him as Colts OC before he (McDaniels) backed out on the job. Could potentially be a good hire but having never been a coordinator before, there's nothing to evaluate him on.

Well, I guess we’re confident he can call plays

I’m just worried that we’re betting on another Joe Brady working out, and Joe Brady wasn’t our offensive coordinator he was our passing game coordinator

Seems like a good hire. People forget how much experience Brady inherited. The LSU team this year was too young to run all those complex concepts. People need to chill about the Brady playbook, it was not his playbook, it was the SAINTS playbook. LSU gonna be alright. If true, seems like a good hire.

Kinda interesting that his playing background is on defense, but he’s spent most of his career coaching offense. Don’t see that very often.

Bill Callahan’s time there spawned a few good coaches.
