LSU Has Lost 5 or More Games 3 of the Past 6 Seasons

They lost 4 or more games 7 out of the last 10 seasons. They have reverted back to the 8-4 program they have been historically.

4 out of the last 5 seasons, Lane won 10 or more games at OM. I don’t think it’s irrational to think he’ll do the same, at LSU. I won’t happen overnight though.

Kiffin was 7-6 at Tennessee, 28-15 at USC for goodness sake, 26-13 at Florida Atlantic ( are they even division 1 ?), and 32-17 in the SEC at Ole Miss.

Ed O and Les Miles won natties though, so Kiff should certainly at least make the playoffs there. I’m not sure he’s mature enough or good enough to stay focused for a natty run in a 12-16 team format. If he won 1-2 CFP games, he’d be feeling himself big time and partying pretty hard.

This is nothing new. LSU has 44 seasons of 4+ losses since the conference was created waaaaaaay back in 1933. They lose 4+ games roughly half of the time.

Honestly, we won a national championship and went undefeated during that span.
I’ll take some shitty seasons if it means we sprinkle titles in there too.
