It looks like LSU is saying f it in football and basketball.

The 24 class has 13 top 100 players with a Avg player rank of 10.95. I can't find another class since they have been keeping up with it that is close to this.

Poor Texas only has 5 with the avg player being 7.52.

25 class already has 11 top 100 commits with the avg player being 11.75.

LSU is all in on buying championships on the Bayou.

Tenn is second, spending big money, but its not close to what LSU is doing.

LSU fans are going to enjoy the revival of LSU baseball dominance.

Hats off for going all in!

Edit: Seems some tigers are melting over this. Its a tip of the cap, it is impressive the classes and portal players you are getting.

PLEASE DON'T ACT LIKE JIMBO AND THE AGGIES WHEN THEY COLLECTED THAT GREAT CLASS IN FOOTBALL.

We've kind of been having these classes for a while. Like 30 years. The difference is with NIL that we can get a large portion of the kids to campus.

Yes, problem with these "holy shite" recruiting classes is getting the kids to actually come to campus.

Poor Texas is right. They haven't made it out of a regional in AGES.

What a pitiful excuse for a baseball program

Definitely the right move for LSU in the NIL era.

We’ll win multiple football championships before Ole Miss lucks up and wins anything again.

You really think about LSU a lot

I think Pierce is a mediocre coach and I don't like the position he's put us in heading into the SEC. But yeah, LSU has tons baseball money for some reason. What is that reason?

Because baseball is bigger in the south and like half the schools around the country dont give 2 shits about it because the season starts when they have snow on the ground.

I think Pierce is good, not great. People don't realize what mess he took over and the fact that he got Texas to Omaha almost immediately after. He deserves at least some credit for that.

He'll always be a threat in regionals (14-2 record) and supers (7-5 record), but his teams have been awful in Omaha (3-6, with all 3 wins coming during one season and 0-3 in opening games). Also apparently none of the players like him, so that's great lol

LSU has had good classes, but nobody has had that many top 100 kids.

LSU has been baseball royalty since the Skip Bertman era. Even if it didn't always translate to nattys, we've been a consistent leader in attendance and usually sit near the top of baseball rankings. 7 CWS titles puts LSU in 2nd place all time to USC, but their titles were mostly in the 60's and 70's. LSU also travels better than any team to the CWS. Omaha is considered LSU's north campus.

LSU's fan interest and buy-in (literally in the NIL age) is something I definitely wish Texas could mimic. For some reason, the NIL funds for Texas baseball just aren't there.

Can't blame LSU for playing the recruiting game the way it should be played in this day and age, and they did so perfectly last year with the transfer talent they brought in

Not at all, impressed.

I love the game of baseball, seeing some historic teams is exciting. I loved Skips teams in the 90's. OM didn't care for baseball so our season was over in March most years back then.

You Tigers are salty.

Yes, LSU and MSU were the only two programs in the SEC that really cared to grow the game. Polk and Bertman are the godfathers of college baseball. Once Bertman retired LSU really took a step back as far as the dominance goes, I believe yall are back to that now though.

Not a knock, doing everything on the up and up, just more committed than everybody else right now, a lot like yall were with Bertman, and you will reap the rewards for it.
