Did any win the Heisman?

Why hasn't anyone worn 9 or 20?

I remember two players to wear #9.... Jordan Jefferson and Joe Burrow. And I don't think JB cares if someone wears #9.

And I can't tell you any player that wore #20.

How about you show everyone the agreement between LSU and current players that state.... "if you win a Heisman, your number will not be issued to any future players."

also leading a 4-win caliber LSU team to a 10-win season

Think he only opted to help with 9 of those wins.

Well he never played at LSU while Corral was at Ole Miss, so try again.

What's kind of funny is Joe Burrow wore #10 in high school and at Ohio St. When he transferred to LSU, there was already a #10 on offense (Stephen Sullivan), so he wore #9. When Jayden Daniels transferred to LSU, Garrett Nussmeier wore #5. Guess who had to change their number? Not Jayden Daniels. Daniels wanted to wear #5 for the same reason Pickett does/did, they'd worn that number their entire lives.

I’m genuinely curious, if this were a former player from your own school doing the exact same thing, how would you react? Would you be okay with it? Would you blame your coach or the school? Would you defend the former player and say it was a smart decision? I think it’s always interesting to see whether our opinions would be the same if the situation involved our own team.

Defending the player in this scenario 100%

He gave y'all years of using his image for free and then y'all broke the unspoken rule.

Per Robert Griffin, Jr....Fellow Heisman winner...

"Every Heisman Trophy Winner should have their number retired. But this cease and desist letter is a COLOSSAL MISTAKE by Jayden Daniels' team for 3 reasons," Griffin III said.

"1. Jersey retirements are an honor. -Not something to be demanded -Not something to strong arm a school to do

"2. It creates a rift between Jayden Daniels and LSU fans, who are one of the most passionate fan bases in all of Sports. Saying you feel profoundly disrespected and are being treated differently than Joe Burrow, forces LSU fans to chose between 10-3 Jayden Daniels and 15-0 National Champion Joe Burrow smoking a cigar. LSU fans will pick Joe Burreaux EVERY SINGLE TIME.

"3. It's creates a MASSIVE DISTRACTION for Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders 3 weeks before the most important season of his career.

"Timing is everything. And this was the worst move for Jayden Daniels and his image to the masses possible."
