Having to hope the team that ran over us on the field has to forfeit so we can go to the SEC Championship game.

If we go to the SEC title game after Auburn wins out, would you feel that is "brag worthy"? We are starting to sound, ironically, like Auburn fans from a few years ago.

Relax. People are just having a bit of fun at Auburn's expense.

With their "honorary national title" after going undefeated.

Maybe so, but it is what it is...

I don't feel guilty about a team we crushed last year that we lost to by 7 on the road this year, with basically the only difference being basically a free agent that Auburn paid big bucks to get there.

You could look at it as they oly beat us since they cheated. So I wouldn't feel that bad at all. If they had beat us fair and square this wouldn't be an issue for them in the first place!

We lost to the Auburn Newtons by 7 points, don't act like LSU would be undeserving if something happened and they wound up being #1 in the SEC West.

It's that or hope they lose twice.....i'll take either one.

would it still be "brag worthy" if Auburn lost their last two games?

We still have put ourselves in this position when everyone thought we would be 4th in the west and so many people thought the season would be 7-5, 8-4.

If they did it illegally, sure. I'll brag that we had TREMENDOUS success on the field this year and did so cleanly and respectfully.

Right, I'm desperate because I'm just trying to understand the rules of forfeiting losses as it pertains to the SEC championship.

I don't care how we get there, we've earned the right this year. Even if we don't play in that game, this season is a success in my book.

I'd take forfeit wins over South Carolina and LSU right now if it meant we'd still have a shot at repeating.

I don't see how you compare the two unless you are talking about them claiming it since USC had ineligible players

you're right.. if this is true and Auburn has to vacate wins, LSU should just reject the chance to go to the SECCG.. no reason for LSU fans to be excited about possibly getting to the SECCG and maybe a NCG..
