They were good players, but that was not expected when originally recruited, they were both 2*s in HS. Weird for them to claim BenJarvus when the only reason Ole Miss got him was Indiana firing Gerry DiNardo

Then I’m sure you’re thrilled Lane is gone and you landed that highly sought after coach in Golding. It’s a win win for everyone.

You must not cruise the Tiger Rant much because the majority of fans over there wanted him gone since before Kiffin was hired.

I wasn’t one of them. I like Frank.

Nobody said that arse wipe....the prevailing discussion points are
#1
RB 's have been very average under Frank...getting the OM RB Coach and Lacy will be a huge upgrade.
2#
Recruiting isn't the same in the NIL era and he won't be as big of a factor in NOLA at OM as he would in years past.
Get your story straight.

We’ve been saying that for a bit now. Personally, I’ve never cared for him and have thought he’s overrated for a very long time now. Yall do yall though.

but as a RB coach, he’s just not good.

BJGE at Ole Miss rushed for over 1,000 yards twice under Frank. Steven Ridley, Jeremy Hill, Leonard Fournette all rushed for over 1,000 yards under Frank

Go check out how sick “the ole miss RB coach” was last season with his talent evals and RB production.

Had to be better than Frank

ETA - Per TeamRankings, 2024 Ole Miss was #47 in rushing yards per game and #36 in yards per rush attempt.

2024 LSU was sub #100 in both.

Now subtract Dart’s rushing yards and look into why Bentley didn’t play ;)

Eh, the vast majority of these Ole Miss rumors have been false so who cares what a bunch of jilted lovers say?

Kiffin clearly didn’t want to keep him either…I trust his judgment. He told Austin to F off and Frank wants to keep coaching RB’s which he just isn’t that good at. Congrats on someone who knows how to recruit NO. But kind of interesting how ALL of our Nola studs in this class still signed with us even though they Lane wasn’t retaining him. He will do a fine job for OM, but no most don’t want him here if he insists on a coaching position. Only if he was still wanting to handle recruiting. Which he doesn’t want and is understandable.

Yeah no way was it because Oklahoma OC was a better job. No way it was that.

But he was on staff when Miles, O, and Kelly were fired.

You would need to have been in a coma to not have seen LSU fans complaining about Frank. His misuse of RB’s is criminal. He was once considered a great recruiter but money is the best recruiter these days. Frank couldn’t even get Jakeem Stewart to LSU even after pouring all of his recruiting “prowess “ into it . Money still beat Frank. He will compliment Pete LOL Golding nicely though

LSU is too good for New Orleans players that started 5+ years in the NFL
