For perspective, Darren McFadden is a career 5,421 guy. Reggie Bush is at 5,490.
Also for perspective, he's put up more than those 5,464 yards in the last 60 games (3.5 seasons)

27 of those games in Tennessee where he was the only weapon and couldn't dominate like he can in Baltimore

He was born and grew up an hour from OSU

He played at OSU

31 of his 36 years in coaching were at OSU

Not saying he couldn't elevate a G5 program somewhere, but he's a Stillwater man. Could he recruit well in foreign lands? Would he want to permanently uproot essentially for the first time at 58, sitting on all that $$$?

He'd probably be a great TV personality but he's a big hunter and might prefer to spend those fall weekends in a stand with the boys
One of the best ever

A vet with that kind of lung capacity at 104 and a name like Dominick Critelli is probably living to 150
Was the defense he rolled out there tonight prepared to play after the month off?

The answer is no, and that’s not debatable. And that’s a personnel-agnostic reality

No reason to run interference for the 2nd highest-paid DC. He’s a big boy and can deal with the criticism
Well, the want is pretty important

Harvard’s endowment is like 8x bigger, Rice is nothing
5,464 yards to the all time record

Feels like as long as he avoids a career-ending injury, it’s his
Well tonight he can thank

6 starters out. You're an arse.
6 starters can be out and he can still do a piss poor job of having the team ready to play

Acting like it can't be both is absurd
What was his crowning game this year? Just curious

His D was arse against the (few) good offenses we played

Which is fine for many, but a Top 2 paid DC? By any objective measure he's been a poor investment so far
Personnel issues are one thing but in no way shape or form was the defense that was out there prepared for this game
This defense is comically unprepared

Can’t wait to see what Remouladesauce has to say.
Do I need to consider a restraining order? This isn’t healthy

(Still mediocre, lest you forget)

Held Alabama to 20.
8th best scoring offense in the SEC

And that's WITH 73 points on ULM and 56 on EIU

2 teams scored more than 24 against us.
Unfortunately we played 3 good offenses

The one that held us to 24 (Ole Miss) whooped that defense everywhere but the scoreboard. We have penalties to thank for them not pushing 40
It’s not even clear he’s in the building, what clean up?
Spoiler: Every good offense we played had their way with us
