This is the biggest issue. Two kids fighting in a sandbox. The SEC will win the battle but both will lose the war.
LSU is better off in the SEC and the SEC is better off with LSU.

I don’t think it’s just bc of Lane. They just rehired a basketball coach that was also part of LOIC where the school was punished.
These two hires combined is probably at the front of the conference trying to expel them.

All I know is that this is really heading the way of this happening. I don't want this to happen because I like LSU but apparently this is for real.

Thank you for confirming not only the arbitrary nature of this matter, but that the SEC and other members have conspired together to negatively impact LSU’s revenue and brand by acting in an arbitrary manner. Given said admissions, we will go straight to the quantum phase of the RICO and Anti Trust Sherman Act claims.

That didn't just "happen" when Kiffin arrived. This is decades of built up animosity. We don't like any of y'all's asses either, but we at least had some respect. I hope the vote is made public so we can all see which ones voted against us. If 2/3 of your institutions vote to remove us on Thursday, then the whole world will see how big a bunch of entitled pussies you all are. The SEC is short lived, and the writing on the wall was placed there when NIL started. If you think this hurts LSU in the longrun, you're all delusional. Lololol. Mississippi’s attorney general and governor have made NUMEROUS public comments on the situation with Chambliss, Lsu, and the eligibility situation.
Same for Texas’ senator Ted Cruz, and Attorney General Ken Paxton sent a threatening letter to the big xii.
But somehow it’s only a problem when LSU does it? The mental hoops to justify this are pathetic. Stop being so easily manipulated…

They should have stopped him from reaching out to NFL coaches about how certain players looked in camp and if they thought they would be waived or not. They should have stopped him from reaching out to players on NFL preseason rosters to recruit them to LSU and discuss how they could make more at LSU than on an NFL practice squad if they were waived.

Talking to players about their elligability options isn’t against the rules or bylaws.
As far as I can tell, neither is disagreeing with those rules.
The rule they made especially for this, which was made after we allegedly conspired to break it, says we can’t roster these players and we didn’t.
The SEC wants us to close the door on that and is willing to go nuclear to get their way.
It’s actually terrifying that we don’t have any guidelines other than a 2/3 vote to expel a school, but you actually have to do something to get suspended
