I don’t want LSU to leave the conference and I think they’ll remain after Thursday.
But really, the lack of institutional control is understandable. You handed the keys to Kiffin and let him do whatever he wants. Your retarded governor was at the forefront of the search to the point where he forced the AD to be fired.
The new AD is a joke. The president is MIA. And the faces of the program are Kiffin - a troll who cares only about himself and Will Wade, a coach who you fired for cheating.
It’s no surprise the other presidents and chancellors have no faith in your institution.

Very well said. This has very little to do with the two “pro” players and everything to do with how low of an opinion the rest of the conference has of LSU as an institution.

Lack of institutional control is way worse than one singular rule being broken. It shows a pattern of inmates running the asylum and it’s usually when the hammer gets dropped.

I have mentioned it on other platforms, but part of the issue is also how heavily LSU has allowed their state politicians, judges, etc. to be involved in their athletics programs.
Having one member institution getting their governor, AG, and local judges involved in promoting and protecting their athletic department’s interests over the conference they’re willingly a part of is a horrible, horrible precedent to set. That’s the shite that just can’t be allowed.

Exactly and the SEC believes Kiffin was contacting NFL players with the promise of being protected by local courts. Thats really what started this.
