They would without a shadow of a doubt know he's from the South. I'm not entirely sure what point you're attempting to make here but whatever it is, it's wrong.

I literally agreed with you. All I said is people have southern accents and its not very different if your from georgia, kentucky, alabama, tennessee etc. The only exception is Louisiana. Thats all I said.
