This is got to be one of the most ignorant statements I’ve ever read on this board. That’s saying something too!

That State court in Baton Rouge is still a court of law. And that judge ruled in favor of the players. And that court is the highest that has ruled on this case. Everything else you said is pure speculation. Also, judges across numerous states have ruled in favor of the players. Judicial court law has legal jurisdiction over arbitrary, hastily created SEC rules. If the Federal Court hears the case and reverses the decision, then LSU will comply with that because that will be the law then. If not, then you can criticize them for not following the law.
I'm sorry you and other highly-respected brethren don't respect our court system and the rule of law as it is in America until then. But obviously a number of our SEC brethren are recruiting a number of these players, so this is obviously not just an LSU vs. the SEC issue.

It's amazing the number of lawsuits nationwide that LSU is responsible for. I wonder how we're going to make room for all these guys.

LOL. I enjoy watching the "Bayou Bengals" when I can and love their stadium at night but they don't have enough "National" push for the B1G and their media partners.

They don't? LMAO. Did you happen to notice how many asses USC had in the seats this weekend? I'm sure Rutgers and several others I could mention draw more eyeballs than LSU.

I don't doubt you would outdraw half of the B1G teams at least...the media wants the eyeballs on the screens. They look at alumni bases as part of their contracts. The B1G has 12 of the top 20 largest Alumni bases in the world...the SEC has Texas and A&M in the top 20 and that's it...alumni bases/eyeballs on the screens are what bring the large media contracts...not sold out stadiums.

The SEC substantially outperforms the Big Ten in regular-season television viewership and total audience share.

Yes they do...but when you look at the geographic breakdown of where the viewers are...you will see it is Regional viewership and not International viewership like the B1G has annually.

Errybody needs to calm down...its game week...LSU ain't going nowhere and they ain't going to have NFL players playing. They have actually done everybody a favor by pointing out how incredibly stupid the current situation is. That wasn't the goal, the goal was to try to get as much of a competitive advantage as possible, which is the correct thing to do. I like nothing better than accusing another SEC program of all manner of ill shite but talking about getting rid of what, the 6th or 10th most valuable brand in the second most popular sports league in the US is NOT going to happen....and LSU ain't dragging up and going on the road to the Big10....LSU is an original member of the SEC and is, like it or not, the real deal when it comes to college football programs. I dislike them as much as anyone but reality ought to rear its ugly head...they ain't leaving and they ain't playing players the SEC says are not eligible to play. And it won't matter what the courts say on the matter...the player may well collect a pile of money from both LSU and the SEC....but the SEC failed to address the situation ahead of time when many people saw what could happen sooner rather than later....

Might consider Georgia Tech as a cautionary tale...LSU is a bigger brand today BUT it is debatable if they are bigger than Tech was when they left the SEC comparable to programs in that era...and they haven't recovered yet. It ain't going to happen...LSU is stuck and the SEC is stuck...and for the betterment of both....
